BREAKING: CB Peyton Dyer Commits to USC

Four-star Duluth (GA) cornerback Peyton Dyer committed to USC on Sunday. Dyer and his family took their USC official visit this past weekend. In November
“I wasn’t expecting to like USC as much as I did,” said Dyer. “I was there for a spring practice a couple of weeks ago and they impressed me a lot. The culture and the people made it feel like home.”
Although Dyer committed to South Carolina in November, he took multiple official visits this spring. He decommitted and opened up his recruitment after his first USC visit in April.
General Manager Chad Bowden, cornerbacks coach Doug Belk and director of recruiting Weston Zernechel have all been communicating with Dyer since offering. That communication and relationship building led to serious interest in the Trojans and the three visits that followed.
“I just wanted to see USC,” Dyer said. “It is a big-time school, they are recruiting me hard, so I want to take a look at the program and see what it is like out there. It’s one of my top schools. It’s a great culture, great coaching and there’s poof everywhere where with all the good players that went there.
“I talk to Coach Belk and Coach Wes almost twice a week”
First 2026 USC official visit week (June 3-8)
This weekend USC hosted 14 players and elite Bishop Gorman safety Jett Washington took his USC official visit June 3-5.

USC’s list of committed visitors in Los Angeles this past weekend included TomTom Topui, Simote Katoanga, Keenyi Pepe, Elbert Hill, Trent Mosley, Shahn Alston, Kannon Smith, Joshua Holland, Andrew Williams and Roderick Tezeno.
The top priority uncommitted USC targets visiting were LB Talanoa Ili from Hawaii, Dyer, WR Boobie Feaster and WR Jalen Lott from Texas.
We believe there will be more USC commits as a result of the weekend visits and Talanoa Ili has several predictions submitted in favor of the Trojans. We’re close to submitting another for a four-star wide receiver.
