USC quarterback Caleb Williams and defensive end Tuli Tuipulotu are officially Unanimous All-Americans for their play during the 2022 college football season.

Williams and Tuipulotu were named First-Team All-Americans by the American Football Coaches Association on Wednesday. That’s the fifth of five All-America teams used to determine consensus and unanimous All-America status.

Previously, Williams and Tuipulotu were named First-Team All-Americans by the Associated Press, Football Writers Association of America, Walter Camp Football Foundation and Sporting News. Making first-team on three of the lists grants consensus All-America status. Making the first-team on all five dictates Unanimous All-American.

Williams and Tuipulotu are USC’s first Unanimous All-Americans since wide receiver Marqise Lee in 2012. And the Trojans have two Unanimous All-Americans for the first time since 2005, when running back Reggie Bush and wide receiver Dwayne Jarrett earned it. They are the Nos. 28 and 29 Unanimous All-Americans for USC, a total that ranks fifth among all programs.

Honors for Williams, Tuipulotu

Williams, of course, took home the Heisman Trophy for his outstanding play this season. He was also named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year. The true sophomore led the nation with 47 total touchdowns. He also set several USC single-season records.

Tuipulotu was named the Pat Tillman Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year this season. He led the nation in sacks and finished No. 6 in tackles for loss per game. Tuipulotu was also named the Polynesian College Football Player of the Year.

Andrew Vorhees With Another All-American Honor

USC offensive guard Andrew Vorhees fell short of Consensus All-America honors, but he’ll be recognized as a First-Team All-American thanks to his inclusion there by the Associated Press. Vorhees also earned first-team recognition from USA Today.

He was a second-team selection by the AFCA today. He was also a second-team selection by the FWAA, Sporting News and Walter Camp.
