DB Transfer Carrington Pierce Commits to USC, will Play with Brother in 2026
Last week, On3 reported that USC was closing in on its first transfer portal commitment of the offseason. Sources told On3 that Oklahoma State cornerback Carrington Pierce was trending toward landing in Los Angeles.
On Sunday, Pierce made it official, announcing his commitment to USC on the same day his older brother, Christian Pierce, revealed he would return to the Trojans for his senior season in 2026.
Pierce entered the transfer portal this fall following Mike Gundy’s departure from Oklahoma State. He drew interest from several programs, including Nebraska, San Diego State, and Toledo. Although he did not see game action for the Cowboys this season, Pierce previously played at Chaffey College, where he quickly made an impact.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound cornerback recorded 24 tackles, three tackles for loss, six pass breakups, and three interceptions during his lone season at Chaffey—his first year playing organized football. A Fontana, California native, Pierce will have three years of eligibility remaining.

Following his JUCO season, Pierce garnered interest from programs such as UCLA, Nebraska, and Kansas before ultimately signing with Oklahoma State. Now, after a brief stop in Stillwater, he’s heading back to the West Coast to join the Trojans.
USC is expected to add several more transfers, likely including a linebacker, a potential starting wide receiver, an interior defensive lineman, and an interior offensive lineman, with possibly a few additional pieces. However, the full picture won’t be clear until more decisions are announced by returning players and after the Dec. 30 Alamo Bowl.
