USC will have another late-night game this season as the Trojans’ home contest against the Arizona Wildcats on Oct. 7 will kick off at 7:30 pm PT. The game will air live on ESPN.

It will be the third 7:30 pm PT kickoff for USC in the first six games of the year. USC’s home game against Stanford and the just-completed road game at Arizona State were also late kickoffs.

The night game against Arizona completes the three-week yo-yo schedule for USC. After the 7:30 pm kick in Tempe, USC will take on Colorado in Boulder this weekend in a 9 am PT kickoff. The 7:30 kick against Arizona follows that one. USC will stay under the lights the following week when they visit Notre Dame for a 7:30 pm ET kick.

The Arizona game is Family Weekend for USC and the Trojans will hope to have a crowd similar in size and exuberance as the one that watched USC dismantle Stanford. That game took place before an announced attendance of 67,213.

“It was a cool vibe in there,” head coach Lincoln Riley said of the Coliseum crowd against Stanford. “That place was rocking. It was a lot of fun.”

The Trojans got a look at a Family Weekend environment this past game at Arizona State, where a loud crowd clearly gave the Sun Devils the home-field advantage they were looking for as a significant underdog. USC will get the same treatment this weekend in Boulder, where they’ll also be up against the unusual test of a 9 am PT kickoff (10 am local time).

Despite Colorado’s blowout loss to Oregon, this weekend’s game will still draw a bunch of viewers in FOX’s Big Noon window. FOX will also send its Big Noon Kickoff crew to Boulder for the second time this season.
