In case winning the Heisman Trophy didn’t prove it, or his celebrated appearance at the Monaco Grand Prix, or walking the runway at a Hugo Boss fashion show, or throwing out the first pitch at a Washington Nationals game, here’s another example of USC quarterback Caleb Williams crossing the line from college football standout to sporting world superstar. The Los Angeles Dodgers recently announced their giveaways and promotions for the second half of the season. Included in those giveaways is a Caleb Williams bobblehead.

The Caleb Williams bobblehead night will take place Thursday, August 10, for a game against the Colorado Rockies.

If you’re wondering, no, that’s not a normal thing for a college football player to be honored with a giveaway bobblehead by a Major League Baseball team.

Between tomorrow’s Dodger game and the end of the season, there are 14 announced bobblehead giveaways. That’s in addition to the seven that already happened. Of those 21, there are exactly three without a connection to the Dodgers.

The first will be on August 3, with a Hello Kitty bobblehead. The second is Williams. The third is on August 19, with a LeBron James bobblehead.

So that’s the list: Hello Kitty. LeBron James. Caleb Williams.

Not sure who that LeBron guy is, but when you’re being mentioned in the same breath as Hello Kitty, you’ve obviously arrived.

Williams’ NIL Valuation

Williams comes in at No. 4 in the On3 NIL100. His NIL valuation is $2.6 million and with basketball player Bronny James comfortably at No. 1 on the list, the Trojans have two of the top four college athletes regardless of sport.

USC and the Dodgers

There has been no announcement as to whether Williams will throw out the ceremonial first pitch ahead of the game that evening. The Trojans will be in the middle of fall camp.

But USC did have a member of the football team throw out a first pitch at Dodger Stadium last season. Head coach Lincoln Riley did the honors back in May of 2022.
