USC’s All-American Walk leading from the John McKay Center to Howard Jones/Brian Kennedy Field will soon have a few more bronzed faces. Five USC Trojans earned All-America honors for their on-field performances this season. That brings USC’s total number of football All-Americans to 175. And this group of five is the largest since the Trojans also added five following the 2007 season.

Quarterback Caleb Williams is the headliner, and will have more than just this plaque on display. The Heisman Trophy winner will also have his name on USC’s replica trophy and his No. 13 jersey eventually retired at the Coliseum. Williams was a unanimous All-America selection this season. He was named a first-teamer by the AP, Football Writers Association of America, the Walter Camp Football Foundation, Sporting News and the American Football Coaches Association. He was also named the Maxwell Award winner, and the AP, Walter Camp, CBS Sports and Action Network Player of the Year.

Williams set USC single-season records with 47 total touchdowns and 4,447 yards of total offense. He also helped lead the best single-season turnaround in USC history since the 1962 team also posted a seven-win improvement. If Williams does indeed play in the Cotton Bowl, as he plans to following a hamstring injury suffered during the Pac-12 Championship Game, he will set several more USC single-season records.

Defensive end Tuli Tuipulotu joined Williams as Unanimous All-Americans this season. The junior defender was named the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year and the Polynesian College Football Player of the Year. He heads into the bowl game leading the Pac-12 in tackles for loss per game and ranked No. 3 in the nation in sacks per game.

Three More Trojans Earn All-America Status

Offensive guard Andrew Vorhees was the third guarantee to earn a plaque on USC’s All-American Walk. He was named First-Team All-American by the Associated Press as well as PFF. He dealt with injury over the second half of the season. But Vorhees was instrumental in the solid performance of USC’s offensive line throughout the year. It remains to be seen whether Vorhees will make it back onto the field for the bowl game after missing the Pac-12 Championship Game. But this is a fitting reward for a terrific career at USC. His versatility allowed him to play four spots along the line for the Trojans. And his leadership made him a key returner this season as the Trojans launched the Lincoln Riley era.

He’ll be joined on the wall by center Brett Neilon, who earned First-Team All-America honors from Action Network. A four-year starter at center for the Trojans, Neilon was one of three finalists for the Rimington Award this season. And measured by PFF, he was the No. 1 graded center in the country with more than 800 snaps taken.

Safety Calen Bullock joins Williams as true sophomore All-Americans for the Trojans. Bullock was named to the first team by PFF. Bullock led the Trojans with five interceptions. He recorded 47 tackles and five pass breakups as well. His five interceptions are the most for USC since cornerback Adoree’ Jackson had five during the 2016 season.
