USC goes back to Georgia, offers 2025 4-star CB Onis Konanbanny

The USC Trojans and cornerbacks coach Donte Williams have once again dipped into Georgia to extend a new offer. This time it was class of 2025 Rabun Gap (Ga.) Nacoochee School four-star cornerback Onis Konanbanny.

Konanbanny is the No. 222 overall prospect and No. 25 cornerback in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also ranked as the No. 25 player in Georgia.

Konanbanny has one of the more interesting backgrounds in the country. He began his athletic career playing soccer in London. Fast forward to now, and Konanbanny is one of the hottest 2025 football recruits in America.

The offer sheet

Becoming one of the hottest recruits in the country is no easy task. And it takes some big offers to do it, and Konanbanny is reeling them in.

He holds offers from USC, Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Georgia, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Charlotte, Minnesota, Connecticut, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Duke, Virginia Tech, UCF, and Middle Tennessee State.

USC making a push in Georgia

USC has offered 12 prospects in Georgia in the 2025 class. Konanbanny is the second defensive back in the group along with Atlanta (Ga.) Douglass cornerback Jontae Gilbert.

Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM)

The 6-foot-2, 170-pound back holds 18 total offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, the local Georgia Tech currently holds the lead at 34.6%, Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina are not far behind.

Konanbanny has been active this spring, visiting Georgia Tech, Georgia, Tennessee, Penn State, and Notre Dame.
