USC head coach Andy Enfield continues to put together strong recruiting classes for the Trojans. On Wednesday, USC announced its early signing period class of 2024 that contained three four-star prospects.

It’s the No. 22-ranked class in the On3 class rankings and features three players from three different West region states.

The headliner is local point guard Trent Perry (Los Angeles/Harvard Westlake). The 6-foot-4, 175-pound guard is the nation’s No. 53 overall prospect in the 2024 On3 Industry Rankings. But he comes it at No. 32 and the No. 2 point guard in the 2024 On3 Rankings. Perry committed to USC about a month ago. The Trojans won the recruiting battle over Colorado, TCU, Oregon, Gonzaga, and Stanford.

Perry’s On3 Scouting Report:

“Trent Perry has a smooth feel for the game. He plays with a mental toughness, with good positional size, and a well-rounded skill set. He is a smooth shooter with range off the bounce and off the catch. He has a repeatable load with a consistent release at each level. He is also a capable ball handler. He can get a team into sets and handle the pressure of point of attack defense. He is an average athlete that lacks top end burst, which could pose some questions. High IQ player, he understands footwork and angles on both ends of the floor. A very steady performer, no matter the situation.”

USC also signed Brody Kozlowski (Salt Lake City/Corner Canyon), a 6-foot-7, 220-pound forward. Kozlowski is the No. 97 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Rankings and a pickup over Cal, UCLA, San Diego State, and BYU.

Kozlowski’s On3 Scouting Report:

“It’s the toughness that’s the takeaway with Brody Kozlowski. He is a 6-foot-7 forward and an excellent rebounder. Kozlowski has that ‘want to’ on the boards to go get the ball. Offensively, Kozlowski is skilled. He can knock down catch and shoot threes, a solid pick-and-pop threat. He can attack closeouts in straight lines and has some touch over his left shoulder on the block. The lateral athleticism is a question on the defensive end. Kozlowski is strong and has good length. He can also push the break, in the open floor, off the rebound. Kozlowski is a tweener with his size and position. There is a production factor with him. Kozlowski’s mom played basketball at BYU.”

The third member of the class for the Trojans is Liam Campbell (Meridian, Idaho/Owyhee), a 6-foot-4, 180-pound guard. He’s the nation’s No. 101 overall player and originally from Northridge, California. He chose USC over offers from St. Mary’s, Santa Clara, Utah State, Washington State, Stanford and others.

Campbell is a late riser in this 2024 class. He made his first appearance in the On3 150 in the recent update just a few days ago and was the highest-ranked newcomer there, at No. 118. Campbell said of what he brings to the court: “I’m a pure shooting guard but I can also be a combo guard and go into ball screens to make plays for teammates.”

This group comes in on the heels of USC’s 2023 class, which was ranked No. 4 in the nation and featured the No. 1 overall recruit, point guard Isaiah Collier.
