* Notre Dame leads the all-time series with USC, 52-38-5. The Irish have won the past two and six of the last seven games.
* USC quarterback Jayden Maiava ranks No. 3 in the nation in passing yards per game, with 308.7. And he still leads the nation in yards per attempt, at 10.8. This will be Maiava’s second trip to South Bend. He was a true freshman on the UNLV team that played at Notre Dame in 2022.
* USC’s Makai Lemon is No. 2 nationally with 113.7 receiving yards per game.
* USC has allowed just three rushing touchdowns this season. The Trojans gave up 19 last season.
* Trojans’ safety Bishop Fitzgerald is tied for the national lead with five interceptions this season. Notre Dame cornerback Leonard Moore has three in just four games. The Irish have seven interceptions as a team in their past two games.
