WeAreSC On3 5/27/22: Kickoff times set, Warren Roberson locks in visit, rival picks up big commitment

WeAreSC On3 is a daily three-point briefing recapping news and notes surrounding USC Athletics. Today, we take a look at kickoff times for four of USC’s 2022 games being announced, 2023 athlete Warren Roberson locking in his USC official visit, and a rival picking up a big commitment.

Kickoff times announced

On Thursday, USC officially announced the kickoff times and tv channels for four of its 2022 football matchups. The Trojans will open the season at the Coliseum on September 3 at 3 PM PDT against Rice. The game will be televised by the Pac 12 Network.

The following week, the Trojans will travel up north to take on Stanford at 4:30 PM on ABC. They will then return home to face Fresno State at the Coliseum at 7:30 PM on Fox.

In addition, USC announced the start time for its lone Friday night game of the regular season—November 11 against Colorado. The game will kick off at 6:30 PM, and it will air on FS1.

Roberson locks in visit

Class of 2023 athlete Warren Roberson has locked in his USC official visit. Roberson will officially visit the Trojans the weekend of June 16-19.

Hailing from Red Oak, Texas, On3 Consensus ranks Roberson as the number 433 player in the class of 2023. As of now, the Trojans are the clear favorite to land the three-star prospect.

Rival picks up big commitment

Pac 12 South rival UCLA picked up a big addition yesterday with the commitment of four-star running back Roderick Robinson.

A native of San Diego, California, Robinson is the number 341 overall player and the number 25 running back in the class of 2023. Despite his commitment to the Bruins, On3 still has the Trojans in the running for Robinson, with more than six months still to go before early signing day.
