Where USC's 2024 class ranks in Industry Team Rankings following recent commitments

In the past two days, USC has landed a pair of defensive commitments from Savannah (Ga.) Jenkins EDGE Lorenzo Cowan and Savage (Minn.) Prior Lake defensive lineman Jide Abasiri.

Cowan is the No. 1119 overall prospect and No. 93 edge rusher in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 133 player in Georgia.

Abasiri is the No. 516 overall prospect and No. 49 defensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 4 player in Minnesota. In the latest On300 rankings though, he was tabbed as the nation’s No. 283 overall recruit and No. 29 defensive lineman.

Cowan and Abasiri became the 18th and 19th commitments in the class for USC. The class now has 10-four star prospects and nine three-stars. 

With 19 commitments in the fold, USC holds the No. 18 class in the 2024 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. The current class is sitting at a class score of 90.51.

USC is sitting at No. 16 in the country in average prospect rating. The Trojans have an average commit rating of 90.00.

Washington four-star EDGE Kameryn Fountain, Lake Oswego (Ore.) Lakeridge four-star tight end Joey Olsen, Clearwater (Fla.) four-star safety Jarvis Boatwright Jr., McKinney (Tex.) three-star running back Bryan Jackson, Clearwater (Fla.) four-star safety Jarvis Boatwright Jr, Englewood (CO) Cherry Creek three-star offensive lineman Hayden Treter, and Huntington Beach (Calif.) three-star offensive tackle Justin Tauanuu

USC remains at No. 5 in the BIG 10 rankings. As of today they remain behind Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, and Michigan.

With a score of 90.51, the Trojans are just behind Michigan, which has a score of 90.94. 

USC is fourth in the Big 10 in average prospect rating.
