The USC Trojans are on a bye this weekend but the college football schedule continues on. While Trojan fans can’t watch their team on the field, they can keep an eye on USC’s past and future opponents. Here’s a rundown of what’s going on with the Trojans’ 2025 opponents this weekend and how to watch.

Wisconsin at No. 20 Michigan

9 am PT Saturday – FOX

The Wolverines are the heavy favorite in this one and USC fans will want to tune in to take a look at the Trojans’ next opponent. Michigan hasn’t gotten the passing game going behind true freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood (No. 106 nationally), but Alabama transfer running back Justice Haynes leads a rushing attack that ranks No. 8 in the nation. The Wolverines also have a defense ranked No. 25 in total yards, allowing fewer than 18 points per game.

No. 22 Illinois at Purdue

9 am PT Saturday – Big Ten Network

It’ll be interesting to see what kind of performance Illinois puts together on the road one week after knocking of the Trojans on a last-second field goal. We’ll see if the Boilermakers make Illini quarterback Luke Altmyer look like a Heisman contender the way he did in throwing for 328 yards and being responsible for four touchdowns against USC.

No. 7 Penn State at UCLA

12:30 pm PT Saturday – CBS

USC misses Penn State this season but has UCLA waiting at the end of the regular season. This one is shaping up as a potential letdown game for Penn State after a tough overtime loss to Oregon and traveling across the country. But even with that, the Nittany Lions are more than a three-touchdown favorite over a UCLA program that is losing games and coaches by the week. Penn State should roll, and a game like that is always entertaining viewing for USC fans.

Boise State at No. 21 Notre Dame

12:30 pm PT Saturday – NBC

The Irish have seemingly found their footing after two close losses to open the season. Notre Dame has scored 56 points in each of its last two games and is coming off a dominating 43-point win on the road at Arkansas. The Irish rank No. 16 in passing offense and No. 11 in scoring this season while the defense got picked apart early in the year but finished the game well against the Razorbacks.

UL Monroe at Northwestern

12:30 pm PT Saturday – Big Ten Network

Northwestern is looking for its second win in a row after a 17-14 victory over UCLA last weekend. It’s another defensive-forward year for the Wildcats, who rank No. 97 in total offense and No. 45 in total defense. Northwestern should be able to grab its third win of the season this weekend.

Michigan State at Nebraska

1:00 pm PT Saturday – FS1

Nebraska is looking to bounce back from a three-point loss to Michigan last weekend. The Cornhuskers have a top-15 offense this year (total and scoring), but a ton of that came in wins over Houston Christian and Akron. Quarterback Dylan Raiola has been one of the nation’s most accurate passers this season (75.6% completion rate is tied for No. 4 nationally) and running back Emmett Johnson ranks No. 17 in rushing yards per game.
