Louisville hosting Mississippi State RB Jo'Quavious Marks

Ahead of a busy weekend on the West Coast, Jo’Quavious Marks spent Wednesday at Louisville, a source tells On3.
The Mississippi State transfer running back is set to travel to USC and Washington this weekend. In four years with the Bulldogs, he rushed for 1,883 yards and 22 touchdowns. Marks was a key cog in the passing game, too, tallying 214 catches for 1,225 yards and five more scores.
The running back was limited at times this past season due to a leg injury. Nicknamed Woody, Marks is a target to watch at USC with the Trojans losing MarShawn Lloyd to the draft and Raleek Brown entered the transfer portal.
The former Mississippi State running back is expected to visit Washington this weekend with his quarterback, Will Rogers, too. Louisville was pushing to get him on campus before those string of visits, which the Cardinals accomplished.

Marks would be a major pickup for Louisville, which ranked No. 46 in the nation this past season in rushing offense with 175.3 yards per game. Jawhar Jordan led the charge for the Cardinals, but he’s since announced his plans for the NFL draft.
If Louisville could land a commitment from Jo’Quavious Marks, the versatile running back would be expected to start in 2024.
