Jody Demling
A native of Louisville and a graduate of the University of Louisville, Jody Demling is a nationally acclaimed sports media professional who has worked in the Louisville area since 1993 and has covered the U of L athletics in some capacity for nearly 30 years. Demling was the only full-time recruiting writer at a newspaper from 2006-2012 when he covered the Cardinals and the state of Kentucky for The Courier-Journal newspaper. He has hosted radio shows and is part of the Louisville football and basketball radio team. At one point, Demling had a streak of 50 out of 52 U of L basketball recruits that he had interviewed and seen in person before they committed. Yes, Matz Stockman and Anas Mahmoud were the two outliers, but all of the others he had all seen in person and reported on prior to joining the roster.
