At some point you have to win, especially against your peers.

Didn’t you say they rested people against New Haven (!!!) to have them ready for St John’s? None of that worked out so well. I don’t think that makes me all that clueless.

They are greatly underfunded compared to many teams on the schedule.

No true fan would call them terrible. Instead, I'm proud of how hard they compete against superior talent.
I didn’t call them terrible. I said they played a terrible schedule.

There have been comments since the beginning of the season that the team is terrible..

We understand that they are challenged. But that's as much on the administration as the players. Money that they sorely need is going to other sports. Specifically men's and women's BB.

Wait so is this the NiL budget or their operating budget like travel, etc. If that is the NIL budget why are we spending 1.2 million to come in last place. Might as well give a little bit more to at least Bozella. An extra 200k might not move the needle for Sha but might get Bozella a solid player.

Honestly, with so many D1 schools within the region and the fact that they are competitive with most of them as opposed to traveling to play much stronger programs, they don’t need to spend as much on travel as some of the other teams at the school. Thats an advantage that they have, and it seems like they scheduled tournaments and non-conference matches closer to home this year.

I also don’t think anyone here called them terrible. It was pointed out that they were picked last in the Big East coaches poll, and it was also pointed out that they haven’t won a conference match in two years. They just need to win some matches.
