Energy didn't have a great weekend and they have most of the best kids in Oklahoma. WSA may be marginally better but they scored "Zero" goals in 6 games today. Most TSC teams will struggle. Not a good look for girls soccer in Oklahoma.

We played against possible the *best* in the country today and played well for the most part.

I think you might be jumping the gun on how WSA is going to do this year.

Give it time. Whether TSC kept NL, Blitz got it, etc., it was never going to be an over night fix.

I try not to have "Dad" goggles on. I watched the FC Dallas 13's and the TSC 13's couldn't hang with them. Sorry if you believe (And maybe I'm wrong) about being marginally better. WSA scored "0" goals in NL today. RL wasn't great either. I don't care what letters are on the chest Tulsa can't compete currently. It's not a knock on WSA it's the conference youplay in. You're playing for about 5th when the season starts.

I believe the Energy 11s and 12s won today. To be fair to Oklahoma soccer, the FCD and Royal partner games are by far the toughest duo of the Texas league. Just bad luck Wsa and Energy had to open with that pair. Let’s see how those clubs fare against the mid level teams.

WSA’s 09s have a shot to make top 5-6 in league. Same for Energy’s 10s and 11s. Pot half full for those girls is you’re playing against some of the country’s best teams. You will have lots of college eyeballs on you. If you play well against the best you will get noticed.

100% Solar, Real Colorado, Sting Black etc. are no joke either. It's a "Texas League ECNL is brutal". Changing jersey's and losing more top players from Tulsa doesn't solve the problems......

Sting Black only went .500 this weekend against Albion and Challenge. Surprised me a bit. Losing coaches like Tatu to Royal was bound to hurt.

Black lost Tatu and the entire roster. Royal = Black from last year.

I'm sorry if my frustration is coming through in my posts. A lot can change in just a handful of months.

Sting black in TX Conf is awful this year. Solar got smashed 12-0 by Classics elite and drew with Sting Austin. There really is only 1 co team that's "good"

Did Solar play their NL squad? They were one of the top teams in the country last year. Classic NL 12s are ranked behind most RL teams in Texas. Score reversed ?

I have no clue. League cup games are whatever, but that’s what the ECNL app says.

Had the U13 NL and the RL games vs Sting Royal today. WSA U13 NLs lost 15-0. I was AR1. I can 100% say that this Sting team was not nearly as good as the FC Dallas U13s. Not nearly as crisp IMo. They’re also not nearly as athletic. I got the feeling after a few minutes and down a couple goals, most of the WSA girls didn’t want to be out there.

I centered the RL game again. This was actually a really entertaining game, 1-1 at half and back and forth the entire game. My game tracker said I ran 4.5 miles in this one. I am also convinced all parents should sit through the FIFA/IFAB handball seminar and the clarifications, etc. Not every time the ball touches the hand is there a handball offense. And this was one of those games. And almost never is there a handball offenses if the ball comes off another part of a player and then the ball hits the hand. It’s just annoying having to listen to it.

My son did RL boys games at River Parks. Between his games he texted me and said something to the effect of “Theses hillbilly Arkansas Rising parents are something else”.

My daughter played in the RL game and it was a blast to watch. High energy, back and forth the whole way. Super entertaining. I actually think parent training wouldn’t be the worst idea. 🤣 I’d sign up!

I was at West Bank Saturday mornin'. Watching some '13 WSA boys who clearly don't understand the whole "bunching up" thing. It was 9 a.m. so I didn't have a cooler full of beer to help with my lack of patience.

It was nice meeting you afterwards. Always a pleasure meeting TU board posters IRL.

BTW, I like the makeup of your daughter's team. There are some good players out there and there are some who just keep fighting (little blonde pig tailed girl that played LFB was one that stood out. When she grows a bit and isn't a foot shorter and 100lbs lighter than some of the girls she's trying to mark, she's going to cause problems going up the wing. I don't know who the primary coach is but it's clear the girls are understanding what Kas wants and this group seems better technically skilled than the NL team. They play faster and by that I mean they see the field and their openings and they do pretty well at the short, tight passing game. Right now they're physically over matched and that's going to happen with a U12 team playing up on an 11v11 field against girls who are true U13s. I understand the results aren't what parents want to see but sitting where I was sitting between games, at half, and after the game, I got to hear pretty much everything the coach told them and I can assure you he's telling them all the right things. It also seems that they might be down a couple of players due to injury?

And I really like the GK. She has good instinct for the position and understands when to come out and challenge and she's pretty aggressive about it. I was really impressed with the one where she charged hard to meet the 1v1 in the 2nd half and basically forced a terrible shot wide of goal. I don't think the attacker was ready for that and she rushed her thought process and action. IMO, she is a better GK than the girl the NL side is running out there.
