So the the senior class had 106 graduate and the eighth grade class is at 105 so Murphy had roughly 25 kids transfer out and nobody transfer end.look at last four Adms were spot on with what was coming in vs going out. will not be first time I was wrong will not be last

Its not that simple. Those 8th grade class numbers are prior to kids that get accepted to the early college and those numbers also do not account for high schoolers that dropped out or end up at the alternative school. Those three factors can easily account for 25 less students. Murphy will gain a few rising 9th graders each year from Martins Creek and Ranger Middle Schools that are not part of the Murphy Middle 8th grade numbers as well.

Murphy is good enough to stay in 1aa..and their coach should petition to stay as such. Face it..all you guys know that if they win a championship in small 1a..then everyone would say..well they should..it's a win/lose situation for them. I don't see anyone beating them in small 1a at all..i guess a win is a win...though. That's all that matters.

I wouldn’t get too cocky with MIC Two yrs ago when we played em they were scary good and we were very lucky to beat them. They were big physical and had athletes all over the field. But just like any other school personnel changes from yr to yr

Numbers definitely help, but how many more football players do you actually get out of an extra 50-100 students, I mean if I remember correctly Elkin won a state title dressing maybe 20 players, I'll take quality over numbers any day

Man I bet West Montgomery would have loved a small 1A title or any title, but instead they shutter their doors with an empty trophy case. Murphy will sit back and enjoy their two 2A titles, four 1A titles and three SMALL 1A titles.

Yeah and West Montgomery can sit back and enjoy knowing they sent the bulldogs back home two or three times in the playoffs and legitimately didn't fudge ADM numbers in order to win titles. Congrats on being the tallest midget. I'm just glad we are able to openly discuss the ruse that Murphy has had for decades and not get any push back. I guess knowing your role and being happy about it is a great feeling. Just know those titles come with a pretty damn big *

You beat Murphy ONCE, in 2007 when Murphy had a .500 football team and you had one of your best ever teams, congratulations. Murphy beats West Montgomery more than they lose to them if they had played every year the last ten seasons, not question in my mind. And that includes your 2016 team that played in the title game.
