Murphy, when they actually play teams from the Piedmont at the 1AA level can't compete with their speed and athleticism. I guess the air is too thick. Who knows. Just keep making excuses. Murphy has competed with Albemarle (more athletes than West Montgomery) just fine over the years, including a one score loss to their 2009 1AA title team. That Albemarle team gut stomped West Montgomery. They also beat the 2011 and 2012 Albemarle teams that handled West Montgomery by two scores. So your piedmont theory is garbage.
