It’s almost like Franklin doesn’t have a ball game this Friday and is more concerned about those pieces of crap from Pisgah. Just think, Franklin only has like 23 seniors this year, so it looks like they will be fighting to be a .500 team next year. Unless, Franklin can get more family members of coaches to become referees. Oh well, let’s celebrate the greatness at hand and help the FHS Boosters prepare for a game that will never happen! The other 2 LB’s are better then good in my opinion... #27 and #5 can both make plays.... #2 and #45 both make plays from end... Biggest question mark for this week for me is can the middle of the line occupy Franklin’s OL so that 36 can make plays before they get 4 or 5 yards?? I believe this is the best defense I have watched in my 5 years in the community
All he needs is a small crease and has made some remarkable runs this year after being contained (or at least looked to be contained)

And to think, we Panthers were 7-6 last year, and we think we are so much better then Pisgah. But hey, we do have the support of the Stangs and the Mountmes.

Have you guys just neglected to pass? Or is it an actual deficiency? To me it seems that flexbone teams don't try to pass much but can usually hit a home run or two in the air because of the defensive focus on the backfield.

We can't. I think we have about 400 yds passing on the season. I'd say half of that is on screen passes. No offense to anyone but it just isn't something we do well.
Pass not strength at all, probably don't spend a lot of time in practice. Early in season qb threw it well, just don't use it. Maybe Friday we come out in the spread.
Passing is something SP has struggled with since switching to the flexbone in the late 90's. Until last year we really were not a threat to throw the ball at all. In SP's case most passes are homeruns. This year alone Ray Grier had 31 receptions for 717 yards. Of those 31 receptions; 15 went for a TD.
When you run the football that well not alot of need to pass, very similar to Franklin. We throw alittle more than Hibriten but not much. This game will be over quickly. LOL!
Its always been our demise as well. Get in the late rounds of the playoffs and run into a team that can stuff the run and has speed on the outside and you CANT throw the ball..... You get the idea!

Last years qb was a liitle small to be slinging it out of the pocket, this qb is very quick, just makes odd passes when rushed. The freshman qb seems to be the future, throws it great, good size, and runs it tough. Win or loose this week hibriten looks strong for the next 4 years.
He's catching TD passes in college now as a freshman. Very rarely do genetics roll through like that. We were fortunate enough to have brothers back to back years be game changers.
I worry more about the QB hurting us w his legs..seems to be a good athlete..its nice to talk actual football..i think if Vegas had a line in this game hibriten would be favored by 10..we apologize for the trolling ..i upset the apple cart w my thread about pisgah being 7-0-0-6..no doubt hibriten is most athletic and talented team we will have played but I know we will have a great plan and our kids will play very hard for 48 mimutes

Just my opinion but the Freshman #8 could be the better Overall QB on the team but Scott does what he is asked really well and can’t argue with 13-0.... I’d also like to see the 2qb platoon system in 2018 so if you need the younger one in a game to beat a defense by passing they might not expect it 100%
Funny had no problem in Smogville USA w the all Haywood COUNTY crew including Mr deaver. Former bear player..and actually yalls 7-6 squad is 2 of our 13 victories or the same # y'all have in last 10 games..happy thanksgiving..
