If that summary of salary and incentives is true, it far exceeds Tim Corbin who was the highest paid college baseball coach in the country. Not sure what UT is doing with Vitello, but they might redo his contract after seeing this. This now makes Brian O'Connor the highest paid coach in the country and it's not close.

It’s the Mississippi State way. We can pinch a penny so hard it becomes 2-dimensional.
For a university that doesn’t have a toilet bowl to piss in or a window to throw it out of, budgeting and economics become important.*****

i'm pretty sure Vitello was and is the highest paid coach in the country. BOC is now the second highest paid.

He's likely very serious. When people have been told all their lives they should remain accustomed to living with modest means they tend to become flustered when there's a Cadillac in the driveway.
I mean nothing wrong with living modestly (and more people should do it), but there is also nothing wrong with paying for the best coach you can get.

$4,000 + season tickets, they've already sent word to everyone. That's an $800 increase from last year
If anyone is cancelling or would like to sublet (is that contractually possible) to me please slide into my DM's.

I just posted what it is this year elsewhere in this thread. If fans don't like it, blame your AD, not the lounge holders. Lounge holders didn't set the price.
I'm not blaming anyone. I'm just stating a fact. Its a bargain price that I take advantage of. If the price goes up, i'll either continue to pay or I want. But someone will gladly swoop up the lounge if my group backs out.

Only State fans would comment that BOC is the best hire in our history and then get upset when they hear what we paid him. It is the cost of playing the game. It simply boils down to $$$ if you want to win going forward. We could have hired another unknown assistant and hoped for the best and saved money. Just imagine what folks on hear would have posted about Semon then! Just be happy that the UVA fans are whining and crying about their program.

we apparently have more than a couple former players who have made a lot of money (not in mlb but in the private sector) that have gotten involved. There are apparently several that have gotten involved that previously hadn’t b/c they didn’t like Cohen. One had a son that Cohen wouldn’t look at and the kid ended up at Ark and played, so i imagine he was good enough to play anywhere.

putting things together, it sounds like things came together that brought a lot of the right people back and like the rest of us, they have had enough. I also think they are tired of the lsu’s and tennessee‘s poaching and buying players out from under us.
If true, that would mean Selmon is doing his job and doing it well.

Corbin's base is now around 2.6 million before incentives. With incentives if he achieves them all would put him around 3.2 million. BOC apparently is getting 2.9 million in base and would be pushing 4 million with all incentives achieved. Vitello looks to be solidly in with those 3 and may be the front runner, but not by very much. All of this info. is what we've all heard or read somewhere that may or may not be actuality. Needless to say, all those coaches and including likely Arkansas, LSU, and Schloss at TX are pretty much all the same. Good to see that we decided to be competitive with those programs and up the ante for a real coach.
