I guess it's time to stop talking, isn't it? It's been a loooong week, but gametime is here, and the weather couldn't be better. Third round last year has fingers and toes wondering if the rest of the body has lost its mind, but tonight I debated whether or not I should bring my jacket. I hope for injury free games tonight, but as for our game, here is why I think we will win: 40 and 94. Those are the strength of schedules for SWE and Fairmont, respectively. There are 99 2A teams, I think. While we have two 3 win, one 2 win, and one 1 win team on our schedule, we have also defeated a 10 and a 12 win team too. Fairmont's best total win victory came against Red Springs 8-4 Red Springs, whose strength of schedule is a mighty 96 out of 99. 11-2 official record, but 10-3 on the field. The only good team they played (northside) blew them out. And losing to a 4-7 team isn't good. 3,300 yards of passing is awesome, but I think we get to their qb often. Plus this field is muddy. I don't think routes will be crisp. If they have to run, it's over. Well...here we go!

Fairmont qb visibility frustrated. Why? Because he's getting put on the ground. Clearly, it hasn't happened all season. Told them. He gets hit and just sits there on the ground, mad.

Thought it was supposed to get tougher the deeper you go? Fairmont's qb had it easy all year long, but he and his line ran into an actual decent team tonight. Everything I felt would happen did happen. I was only off in giving them too much credit by picking us to win 35-28. This win is sweet to me because we have never gone to a regional finals before, but it's just as sweet because of a certain poster is eating crow right now. Love it love it love it.

Heard Fairmont was complaining about the cannon going off after each SWE touchdown. Said the smoke was throwing off their game, lol.

It was the touchdowns that led to the cannon being fired that led to their demise. I guess they were saying that it was a smokescreen, disabling their ability to see the football....well, you obviously know the solution, don't you?? Keep us from scoring. Durp. Lol. I'll admit though....it was a LOT of cannon fire tonight. Lol

I bet that certain poster would blame it on the refs like he did when Whiteville did the same thing to Fairmont. Saw the same body language from the QB.

Thanks for the support. We were cheering you guys on as well. They announced every score and the place erupted when you went up 14-0. We also cheered when we heard that kinston was losing 7-13 with about a minute left, because we wanted that home game and revenge on Northeastern. But to Kinston we go. Come on out. It's not that far. You'll get to see a grown man cry if we win. SW Edgecombe...going to the state championship in football...can you imagine?

Shawn you are too old to be acting like this. You are a grown man teaching the younger generation a sense of bad attitude. You are a cancer to society and you are one of many reasons why kids(not just in Robeson County) act the way they act today towards adults, teachers, mentors, leaders. In fact I am still trying to figure out what you did in 1989. How did you even earn a scholarship. Maybe you deserved it or maybe you didnt. It is sad when you're still talking about something that happened 26yrs ago. You need to let go, forgive and forget. You need to be a leader, not a failure or a follower. Set the examples for your peers, the younger kids and the way ahead. I hope I am a thought in your memory bank when and if you decide to go to the alter and get saved.
