Pomeroy’s ratings for this season came out today. Ken has us at 46th in the country (35th offensively and 62nd defensively).

He has us going 18-11 (10-10) in our “known” games (so excluding the 2nd two games in Charleston). We’re the 8th ranked team in the Big Ten.

Ken is definitely more optimistic on our squad than most that I’ve seen.

Surprised the O/D rankings are what they are..

As much as I think they can get to 8th or even 7th, the group in the 8-11 range (MD, Rutgres, UW) seem to be in the middle of the pack and you could rank any of them in any order there. They will fight for the last spot or two in the tourney based off of who is the most consistent and able to get a couple BIG tourney wins.

Is anyone going to the opener tomorrow night? Are all ticket and parking sales online at this point or will be somebody at the Jordan Center if I just walk up?

PSU is favored by 11.5 with a current total of 139 (I'm on the over at 138). Solid test to start out the season.

This is our first of 3 games on BTN+ this month, so if you spend the $10 for the monthly PSU pass to watch it, you'll get two other games along with it.
