It’s a sport largely composed of gay athletes and followed by lesbian fans, so it seems applicable to reference the pride in their advertisements, plus the pride of lions theme hits the mark as well. I’m fine with it. I just want them to win. It is what it is.

PSU lost by 10. Unleash the pride? Seriously? Who comes up with this crap?

Search pretty much every tweet made by the PSU WBB. With only a few exceptions, each of them this season includes the hashtag #UnleashThePRIDE. It has nothing to do with the specific results of any game.

Glad to see Maggie back as a coach with the Lady Lions. Below is how she finished her playing career at PSU.

That hashtag is so stupid when posting a loss.

Lady Lions in an ugly game against Rutgers with a 33-32 halftime lead after being up 23-12 after first quarter. Defense isn't providing the typical number of turnovers and the half court offense is stagnant. RU in last place with only 8 players on the team, but Lady Lions with no road wins this season. Have to win this with some blowouts, beginning with Maryland, looming on the schedule.

Rutgers has made one foul line jumper with all their other points on layups or foul shots. Lady Lions trail 61 to 56. I hope this is rock bottom.

It is not the bottom. It is not even the top of the bottom. But it is, perhaps, the bottom of the top.....or something.🙃

Lady Lions lose in OT. Were down by 1 and 2 and on consecutive possessions turned the ball over with the 2nd one an inability to get the ball inbounds. Very tough to watch.
