Because Cassioppi MFF in the final, BTN will show the Kerk-Parris match

Per 1
Paris in on a single, Kerk stuffs him, nothing. Kerk shoots a single, Parris sprawls but Kerk pulls in the leg and gets the TD, 2-0. Impressive strength. Parris to his feet and is out, 2-1. Parris sort of shoots, and Kerk sort of sprawls, nothing. OOB with 18 sec. End. RT @ 7 sec for Kerk

Per 2
Parris takes bottom. He's to his feet returned, then OOB with 1:51 left. Parris to his feet, and he's out, and Kerk got banged in the face so there is a break. 2-2. Parris sort of shoots and Kerk nearly guided him to his back, but Parris avoided it, nothing. End. RT @ 22 sec for Kerk

Kerk takes bottom. Caution on Parris (I think) for not putting his hand on the bello button. Kerk is out, 3-2. Parris shots and Kerk nearly threw him to his back, but Parris somehow got his feet under him and avoided it. Damn. 1 min left. Parris shots and a stall warning on Kerk. Parris shoots and Kerk tries to counter. Kerk shoots straight in and gets a single to a double for a TD, 5-2. Parris works up, but they are OOB with 11 sec left. Parris to his feet and he's out, 5-3. End.

Kerk is the 2022 B1G 3rd Place Winner

if Kerk had won yesterday, do we win ? Not sure how much that was worth yesterday.

Watch how Kerk pulled in this leg and got the TD. That's impressive at any weight, but doing it against another heavy is really impressive.

If Hillebrand wins 2 matches, do we win? Don't blame anyone for this. As much as it pains me to say this, but, give Michigan credit for a GREAT team tourny!!!

Look at Willie's tweet that I posted at the end of the Session 2 thread. It shows what the point difference was as a result of Kerk losing that match at the end.

Michigan had a great top to bottom tourney and we disappointed too many times. Congrats to Michigan and congrats to our champs! Great tourney. B1G wrestling is just next level. See ya in Detroit!

Great team showing. The difference was Hilldebrandt. If anyone would have said he’d score zero points at BIGs, I’d have called them crazy. Tough go for him. Tough draw. He needed that win over DiAugustino. When he didn’t get that, we knew he’d be in trouble with McKee.

I hope he recovers and is healthy for Nationals. Same with the other guys that are banged up.

Congrats to all of the champs! Kerk also gets big props for beating Parris again and to Berge for placing 3rd just a few months after coming out of retirement.

Wow ! One second was the difference ! Kerk doesn't let him out yesterday, we win ! Oh well, great effort all around, hopefully some of these guys bounce back and don't let down.

damn, until a short time ago, I just assumed AB would be #1. That would suck if AB and Amine are on the same half

MI wrestled to seed 3 weight classes, outperformed seed in the other 7 weight classes. Yes we can pick at certain weight classes (125 and 165, especially 125), or particular matches (Kerk vs Cass or Brooks vs Amine), but the Wolverines put on one hell of a performance. They earned it.
