Now Canada 0-2 Morocco so I think we can safely discount anything less than a W for Morocco, given that Canada has nothing to play for. Assuming this result, Croatia moves on with a win or draw, Belgium with a win. Easy peasy.

Yeah, some nice shots by Croatia. Announcers: Belgium’s keeper is generally considered to be the world’s best. (My excuse for not knowing this until today is that he doesn’t play in the Premier League.)
Just a wild game. Both teams have hit the post in the past 5 minutes, and yet the game is still scoreless.
Wide open net, the keeper was all the way on the other side. As bad a miss as I’ve ever seen.
And in 2 minutes, he hit the post, and then had a header at the 6 that he hit over the net.
Oh my God, if Belgium misses moving on by a single goal, Lukalu will remember this every day of the remainder of his life.
The header, if it had gone in, would have been overruled, as the ball was clearly over the end line before DeBruyne fed it into the box.

No. Because, to me, this seems like something that should be "automatic" with the skill these guys have, and the endless practice. Now I don't mean ACTUALLY automatic, but like kicking an extra point in football. When you miss, it's like "wtf?!?!" But on that highlight, they talked about just how AMAZING that was (something you wouldn't see about making an easy catch in football, or making an easy pass, or sinking a free throw), and although I don't watch a lot of soccer, I've seen that missed a lot more than I've seen it made.
Lukalu from 3 yards from the goal chests it, and it goes right to the keeper. Hard to believe that he's not converted the opportunities he's had.

Japan is win and in. Draw, they are in if Germany draws or wins by less than 2. Draw, they are eliminated if CR wins. Lose, check the GD.

I’ll be rooting hard for a Germany win. (I’ve got dear friends in Essen and Stuttgart. Plus, David Hilbert is my favorite mathematician.)

So none of those other guys practice? What they do with their feet is much harder to repeat consistently. Anyone who has played multiple sports realize this.
