Side note- playing basketball games in rooms like this is ridiculous lol.
Insane. WVUs entire bench ejected. They have 5 players for entire 2nd half and lead Duke by 13 with 3 min left in 3Q
Correct. I’m even more amazed the great coach of Team USA lost to that team. They didn’t just win, they dominated the 2H.The win is even more impressive because 4 of the 5 starters for WVa were ejected.
HaHa, Good one 6string. I love it !How many spots will dook move up in the polls?
A real possibility that Kansas State is the weakest team we play over Thanksgiving. SDSU is a team that could win a game in the NCAAT. Columbia is well-coached (Banghart tree) and we will likely see a lot of similarities. She is a fiesty little coach if anyone attended the NCAAT games in Carmichael last year and remembers her. They have a couple solid players. We will play South Dakota State on Thanksgiving, followed by Kansas State the next day. (And then Columbia)
- SDSU is undefeated with 4 convincing wins against mid-majors; a team receiving votes
- K State started the season ranked but has struggled a lot. Beat #79 SMU by just 46-44, lost to #185 South Dakota U 72-71, then lost to #50 aTm 72-77
I agree they’re important but I’m not convinced there are any must-win games in November.I agree. We need to take care of business one game at a time. These games are must win games. We have to jump on them early, take care of business, and do what we are suppose to do. No excuses.
I thought that was an online for profit school. seriously. Did they build a campus on the rim of the canyon?0-4 Grand Canyon beat SMU 76-60 yesterday. Carolina transfer Paulina Paris has had a rough year. 6 ppg on 24% shooting and 7% from 3
Well, the CCU Bus almost ran into me just now after backing down from road after missing the exit towards 40…..Trygger out for NCSU today but it is reportedly a short-term issue.
NCSU having some issues putting Coastal Carolina away.
End 3Q: NCSU 53 - CCU 39.
NCSU ended up winning by 13. Very reminiscent of the UNC/Navy Men's game last night in letting a lesser opponent reenter the game who should be a 25 pt dog. NCSU did win comfortably, but their fans are probably not reassured by the 2nd half performance.Well, the CCU Bus almost ran into me just now after backing down from road after missing the exit towards 40…..
Trygger is the most important piece for State without question. She just does so much not just in her scoring and rebounding but the uniqueness of her game with the ability to stretch the defense and create space for others to operate. This NC State team is going to take some time to be it's best. Pierre as good as she is as a player, is having some struggles adjusting to playing within the system and not having to be the go to player on every possession and that is leading to her forcing shots and having too many turnovers (she had 5 last night). Lots of good pieces but are still a work in progress in terms of learning to play together. I said earlier this year when chatting with some of you on here in the preseason that I thought that freshman Kyshe Lunan was going to be a factor as a freshman and her play to date and of late, has been really good. She has another level of quickness and athleticism that not many young players have. She can really get after opponents defensively and knocked in a couple of threes last night to go along with her off the bounce game. I think she is a future ACC first team player and one who is going to only continue to see her role expand this year.NCSU ended up winning by 13. NCSU will not be good in any game Trygger does not play. Maybe their most critical piece even though Brooks and Pierre are better players.
Seems to me that both teams are going through some injury and growing pains right now. I dont think we have seen what the final product will be for either. I think both can be capable of playing for an ACC championship and doing well in the NCAA but they will need to play as close to their peak as possible.Trygger is the most important piece for State without question. I haven't been able to catch UNC much yet. How are things shaping up for you guys to date?
