The Wentz-Foles Eagles had the most dysfunctional locker room, former player says. But that was only part of the problem. the source is Golden Tate. talked about an OL getting into a fight with an OL coach over how to do something. Interesting would love to know the player and coach. Wiz? Stout?

Cooper DeJean may play more at safety, less at cornerback in 2025
Cooper DeJean is usually called a cornerback, but on the Eagles' roster he's just listed as a defensive back, and Philadelphia defensive coordinator Vic Fangio says DeJean could easily find himself getting more snaps at safety this season.

SMH Jaylen Daniel’s at 6?? CJ Stroud ahead of him? Right now CJ can’t throw a football?? I m afraid ( or hope) Daniel’s flies too close to the sun this year
I'm more surprised at Herbert and Mayfield. Stroud lost offensive weapons and had a sophomore slump. Not saying he's better then Hurts, but I'm giving him a bit of a pass on last season. Could definitely see (hope) some regression from Daniels this year.
I'm not pissed at the rankings. Keep that chip on Hurt's shoulder.

I should have mentioned in my last post that those QB ranking are silly. But like TMac said, consider the source.
Daniels had the same season Hurts had in 2022. Yet because he was the #2 pick, he gets way more credit than Hurts did.
Same situation with Stroud. These blowhard talking heads love draft pedigree. Simms was an average QB and he’s an average, nepo-baby talking head.
I would guess they are also docking him for having incredible talent around him which is foolish to me. If the eagles defense held up in previous Super Bowl he would have 2 mvps.

They’re a super team and that’s not a shot on him, but he gets the advantages of not having to worry about all these other things, right? And with all the greatness of the Philadelphia Eagles, he cannot play great and they can still win. He gets a lot of great looks on defenses where I go, ‘Wait, no one would ever play this defense against Lamar [Jackson] or [Patrick] Mahomes or anybody like that.’” I am not sure what this means?? Does he mean they play very vanilla against him?
“If you just went purely on passing and throwing, he’s below 10,” Simms said. “It’s one of the slower releases in all of football. Like, he’s not in the top half of football as far as being able to get the ball out of his hands and do that. Arm strength, it’s not in the top half of football with arm strength either.
“Decision making wouldn’t be in the top half of football, as far as what he does in the pocket, but the other stuff that he brings to the table — hanging in the pocket tough, scrambling and making big plays there, making plays on the run with big throws, buying time in the pocket at times, handling pressure … his ability to rise to the occasion in big moments, his ability to not mess up games in big moments — yeah, those are things that are all taken into consideration here.”

Agree and poorly written by me. I'm not a believer in placing blame in one area and that wasn't my intent.
I should have said something more like, how do you rate a guy at 10 who was this close to having 2 super bowl MVPs?
hey no worries, I love talking Birds football. that said, I think nationally they are disrespected by many, heck again this year somebody has the Commadores winning the East!! SMH We hung 55 on them in the big game (but if you take away 4-5 of those fumbles brand new ball game, right?)
