If we win today, the season is a success. Lose, and it's mediocre.
Melendez starting off lazy. Sitting in the corner covered instead of taking the back door cut or trying to get open. Then a lazy pass knocked out.
Definitely have to call it a success but damn it's disappointing to put ourselves on the 8/9 line and make it damn near impossible to get out of the first weekend considering where we were with 5 games left.
It seems to have been removed from all levels of basketball. That and carrying the ball.
Keep letting them tap those offensive rebounds out and we're going to lose. Gotta clean that mess up.

Sloppy. Not blocking out and getting the misses. I see more energy from Baylor early. Guys have got to get it going offensively because it looks like they will have to score a lot to win.
How do you rip the ball away and they call a jump ball?
Game plan against us is pretty simple, throw it down low and expect a late double team, pass it to the open player for a three or layup.
We are really at a disadvantage when it comes to coaches today. We are playing awful on defense.

Jones has gotten like three offensive rebounds, two on the same possession that led to a 3-pointer. Hes a very good rebounder for a guard
We have seen this before….settling for 3’s instead of attacking the rim… early in season we attacked the rim.
We do the dumbest things. Let a wide open shot get blocked from behind, then foul on the rebound for no reason giving them a 1 and 1 (which they will make both, no doubt). So a 4 point swing from laziness and stupidity.
