Spot on. I saw the last 6 minutes, and between Boyd and Blackwell, those two are not only selfish, but they also jaw like crazy at the opponents. I wasn't sorry they lost at all. Is Blackwell finally graduating? He seems to be on the 6-year plan.
It seems safe to say when you look at the bottom (as evidenced by us dominating the bottom dwellers) and then work up your way up into the middle of the conference and then even make your way into some of the tourney teams that the conference overall is a little down. Top heavy with some good teams, but a lot more mediocre and just weak teams than I think you typically see with the B1G.
Fwiw..although read somewhere High Point is close to $2 million. Guy is taking alot of conference averages
Of course they have not won a championship in ages, but overall I would say the conference as a whole (top to bottom) is weaker than normal this year.
I dont think its down...its how it always is but stronger at top this year The top 4 are very strong. The bottom is garbage

Maybe a little understated because of Purdue struggles in tournament most years but Wisconsin makes a lot of early exits as well under Greg Gard

The Duke valuation of 12 million might be low and its there are 15-20 schools over 10 million but i think most power 5 schools were 6-9 million
In NC, High Point University is known as "Country Club U." Around $72k/year. Tremendous growth since 2005. High Point was the traditional hub of the furniture industry in the USA. Annual furniture market is still very very significant. I can see where the monied supporters would want to build its BB brand and be comparable to Duke, UNC, NCSU, Wake, Davidson.
