If I remember correctly, last year the Thursday and Friday were not real exciting. This year is much better

UNC needs to fire Davis tonight. Embarrassing. Almost as bad as Dougherty. Should've been fired last year.

If I knew Schertz was interested in the Rutgers job, I'd dump Pike in a minute and I like Pike as our coach. Schertz is a different level coach, I saw that at Indiana St in the MVC.

Kennesaw St lost to Alabama on a neutral 81-92 in their only Q1 game. There is a reason the Big Boys are avoiding certain teams like Miami(OH), High Point, Kennesaw St, and a few others.

Vermont, NM St, UC Irvine, Hawaii, UNCW, High Point, Miami(OH) 0 Q1 games.

Furman, Siena, Kennesaw St, Wright St, Troy, Cal Baptist, Hofstra, 1 Q1 game.

Good! Take that NIL and stuff it!
I mean it’s been mentioned on this thread already saint louis high point and vcu are 3 of the higher end mid major NIL teams

embarrassingly 3 programs we sit closer to than the ones we play against

I doubt we see any true Cinderella upsets today maybe a couple more wins from HIGH end mid major teams with competitive rosters

Chalkier vibes today

we saw a few upsets yesterday but by and large the number of Cinderella teams is going to be far fewer

used to average around 8-10 double digit seeds winning

would be surprised to see more than 5-6 like last year

keep in mind too that two of those supposed dogs were Texas and Texas AM who are the opposite of Cinderella

Lot of wasted NIL for Nova and Willard comes up small

People need to listen to what mashburn just said. Nova made 14 threes and Utah St. Just 2. It was about position. Ball and player movement and players looking up first before putting the ball on the floor.
Thats basketball.. not 1 on 1 crap. Team over selfish.

The way I’m reading this weekend is a few coaches who historically do poorly (Greg gard, Willard, Hubert Davis) regardless of NIL

you guys won’t give up on the NIL point… this year is going to have even fewer upsets than last year

I don’t like it either but you can’t argue Against the facts that probably 29 of the 32 programs that advance this weekend have more money than Rutgers and more talent on the roster
