Yea. Was talking about staff. She put together the NIL money for Knox.

Last 3 out of 4 years no AAsAnd that concludes yet another year of no AA's this is a fv*king joke.
Time for all of you to go root for Penn State since they rarely lose. Then you will be very happy.
Oh stop.. people have higher expectations than the product that’s being delivered.Time for all of you to go root for Penn State since they rarely lose. Then you will be very happy.
Bill we all respect what Goody has done and appreciate the effort the kids put forward. We need to look where we were and where we are. Finishing 33rd shouldn’t be acceptable. No AA in 3 of 4 yrs. Only kids left standing were upper weights.Time for all of you to go root for Penn State since they rarely lose. Then you will be very happy.
Bill,Time for all of you to go root for Penn State since they rarely lose. Then you will be very happy.
I'd add Damien Hahn to the list as well.I would make Goodale a position in the AD. Then go hard for JB, Dake, Donnie etc. 3 out of 4 with no AA for the state school of NJ is horrific.
Lowest score since 2012:Thats a wrap on this absolutely abysmal tournament. Worst tourney we have wrestled in years. Probably before Perrotti AA’ed.
This program has regressed leaps and bounds. Anybody that does not see that or does not believe that is blind, is lying to themselves or is a Goodale relative on this forum. There is no defending this.
Dont want to hear the same shallow promises about reevaluating, blah blah. Program is broken. And it was not just that we lost, it was how we lost. Easy takedowns, no tough rides, no aggression on our feet, cant get through head hands to save our life.
If you choose to accept mediocrity, that sucks for you.
Yep. Do what the Celtics did with Brad Stevens when he hit his ceiling and get him in the AD office and out of coaching and make a splash hire.I would make Goodale a position in the AD. Then go hard for JB, Dake, Donnie etc. 3 out of 4 with no AA for the state school of NJ is horrific.
Have to think Tate and Zinn won't tolerate this type of mediocrity in a sport we should be excelling in almost by default. Goody has to chop a few assistant heads over this showing. This team does not have any high end kids. We have 18-30 ranked kids who wrestle to rankings.
Whats concerning is pinto was a blood round guy last year and Shawver was an allamerican and bloodround guy and neither do anytbing in the tournament.
In short, we aren’t getting blue chip recruits, aren’t really developing guys, and our older guys are regressing. Other than that the program is in good shape
Well, I guess you can say we've come full circle. We're back to where we were 11 years ago below Rider and Princeton.Lowest score since 2012:
2026: 33. Rutgers 7 (0 AA)
2025: 36. Rutgers 12 (0 AA)
2024: 20. Rutgers 22.5 (2 AAs: 7, 7)
2023: 34. Rutgers 8 (0 AA)
2022: 20. Rutgers 28.5 (2 AAs: 3, 8)
2021: 13. Rutgers 37.5 (3 AAs: 4, 4, 8)
2019: 9. Rutgers 51.5 (2 AAs: 1, 1)
2018: 11. Rutgers 42.5 (2 AAs: 2, 6)
2017: 19. Rutgers 24.5 (2 AAs: 6, 7)
2016: 15. Rutgers 30 (2 AAs: 4, 8)
2015: 31. Rutgers 9.5 (1 AA: 8)
2014: 34. Rutgers 11.5 (1 AA: 8)
2013: 35. Rutgers 7.5 (0 AA)
2012: 45. Rutgers 6 (0 AA)
Yeah it's all about recruiting. We need more elite recruits. This team does not have any high end kids. We have 18-30 ranked kids who wrestle to rankings.
Whats concerning is pinto was a blood round guy last year and Shawver was an allamerican and bloodround guy and neither do anytbing in the tournament.

Goodale isn't going anywhere, he does just enough to stay off an AD's radar. It's all up to him to make internal changes. Which he should with this staff and get a real Assistant Head Coach and lower weight staff. But in all likelihood, he won't, as they're nice guys.Have to think Tate and Zinn won't tolerate this type of mediocrity in a sport we should be excelling in almost by default. Goody has to chop a few assistant heads over this showing.
Id upgrade the S&C coaches as well. Tired of losing matches late because our guys dont have as much juice to finish in the 3rd or in OT.Goodale isn't going anywhere, he does just enough to stay off an AD's radar. If we do anything…we need a better strength and conditioning programId upgrade the S&C coaches as well. Tired of losing matches late because our guys dont have as much juice to finish in the 3rd or in OT.
I feel like that is something Zinn can put together as far as a budget for almost overnight. The S&C program is a joke...is the S&C coach someone from the Planet Fitness in East Brunswick? Get Goodale a legit S&C staff. If we do anything…we need a better strength and conditioning program
You could hear them and the ref said something to the effect that they were looking at both the escape and reversal whe he kept pointing two,Catka match a real head scratcher. How was that not a reversal? Goody was clearly asking for two but the challenge was from the other corner challenging the escape. Good threw his brick back at his bench. Why not use it and challenge for a reversal? WTF? Not to be lost in all this. Catka had the match in the bag and one stall to give. He got taken down with 15 seconds remaining.
