They do need them. Goodale struck out on his main target and cobbled together this, which clearly isn't working. They need a Head Assistant Coach with Pritzlaff ability. Like @Samson1975!!! said, pre-Pritzlaff and post Pritzlaff look pretty similar.
Catka has a nice shot and can get deep in, finishing has always been his problem. Today he finally finished one. But he's been in deep on guys in the B1G and can just never put it together for a takedown.

Nice pair of wins by Cotton and Catka to close out of the otherwise disappointing session.
If someone catches fire, season can be salvaged but it doesnt look promising. Currently behind Princeton and Rider. Lots of time left though to pick up some wins on the backside
disappointing is an understatement....Our lower seeds wrestled ok... But didnt PUSH through till Catka... Olivieri & SCW,,, did not look like guys who want to AA....
Nebraska coming back down to earth a bit after last season. They had a few guys go down that round

Thanks for all the updates guys. I am just getting caught up now. I purposely chose not to watch the 1st round of the tournament because I expected it to be a disaster, which it was. However, great work apparently by Cotton and Catka to rescue a bare modicum of success on the day.
I too am not a Goodie basher but I am again reminded of a quote attributed to Einstein (for which there is no evidence) that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

If he does that, i don't see how any blood round heavy or 197 pounder doesn't want to transfer to RU

Settle down Nuts... Not embarrassing... we were underdogs in most matches... The ones we were favored were tough matchups...(hmmm shocker) Not happy with this round... But waiting till tomorrow night to judge...
I mean Catka and Pinto were R12 transfers from last year so u hope they can transfer in and become next lvl bc u know they r seniors now.. and another year of graduating class gone.. but I always said progress isn’t always linear… their season hasn’t gone as hoped really but it’s often just remembered as a March is what matters sport. If Catka wins next round then hes 1 win away from AA. Remy has been a pleasant surprise, done better than expected.

Refs are just too inconsistent and abysmal. Hardy gets a takedown against Davis immediately without waiting for reaction time and Hardy's head was still buried in his crotch. Wasn't a takedown. Refs just ruin the sport.
