Boohoo and I try so hard to make friends here. How will I ever survive?Unlike many, maybe most, on this board, I though you had some redeeming virtues. Won't make that mistake again.

I hope this staff doesn't throw game tickets at him, no second chances for stuff like that. The second I saw that I didn’t care. It’s not realistic to expect an entire team with Saquon’s class, but geez, how could you root for a knucklehead like that?
My issue with this isn’t that a 17 year old went elsewhere. It is that a player who received loving support from Campbell and the staff could turn around and disrespect us to that level of that hat toss just because Rhule shows up with a slightly bigger bag and guarantee to start day 1. Parents should have taught him better. Here is a snippet from a national recruiting analyst a month ago (there is a lot more):Very immature and low class move.
I personally would not love it if he reversed the order. I get he's 17, but respect the game, respect the process and respect the transfer portal. Coaches invest time and money to offer an opportunity. No harm in taking another opportunity, but why throw shade at those who believed in you. In this day and age of agents and personal advisors, I'd like to think an adult would have been present to advise on the value maintaining strong relationships. If Taylor threw a Husker hat and committed to PSU you would be in love with him. He's a 17 year old. Get over it.
Hmm. Antonio Logan El did a similar stunt with Ralph Friedgen when he was recruiting him to MD. Guess where he committed to…..PSU and Paterno. The event was nationally televised from the ESPN Zone in Baltimore and Friedgen’s wife was in attendance. It works both ways. They are high school kids.My issue with this isn’t that a 17 year old went elsewhere. "I love the way they care for me, especially my mental (well-being) because I've been going through something," he said. "The day I shared it with them, they always checked up and make sure I was doing ok."

I agree. Disrepectful bridge burning.Yeah if I am Penn State I don’t revisit this recruit even if he becomes available again or looking to flip. No need for the hat garbage, especially from a PA guy. Enjoy Nebraska
Not disappointed. Don't pursue him any further after that disrespectful stunt.Disappointing. WR is a big need going forward.
The difference is that in this situation the player recently expressed appreciation the coaching staff was helping him with a significant personal issue and showing him love and care the entire time. I don’t care if Khalil Taylor would come to happy Valley with $0 NIL ask at this point. I would not want him on this roster after that disrespect.Hmm. Logan-El picks Penn State over Terps
Antonio Logan-El, a heralded offensive line prospect who had verbally committed to play for the Terrapin football team, announced Tuesday at the ESPN Zone in Baltimore he would play for Penn State.dbknews.com

The difference? No difference. These kids form bonds with coaches from all different staffs. Someone is going home disappointed in every case. The terps were so convinced that Logan-El was announcing for MD (he was a previous silent commit) that Friedgen sent is wife to the nationally televised announcement to watch ALE diss MD, throw a MD hat on the floor and hold up a picture of Paterno. The only difference here is PSU is on the wrong end of the announcement. On a side note, Logan-El is considered one of PSU’s biggest busts ever. The difference is that in this situation the player recently expressed appreciation the coaching staff was helping him with a significant personal issue and showing him love and care the entire time. That stunt lines up with the beginning of the PSU dark age! Just sayin…The difference? No difference. These kids form bonds with coaches from all different staffs. Its still not cool....regardless of which school he committed to.....Penn State or otherwise. Do you make a distinction??If Taylor threw a Husker hat and committed to PSU you would be in love with him. He's a 17 year old. Get over it.
Does Mr multiple handle man EVER miss an opportunity to offer a contrarion view on every thread? I m not referring to you of course Aplhalion75Its still not cool....regardless.
I thought he committed in 2006, after the highly successful 2005 season, which followed the dark age from 2000 to 2004?That stunt lines up with the beginning of the PSU dark age! Just sayin…
