Yes, but they will charge you a $10 cancellation fee....told Paul and he said he couldn't do anything about it. I won't be back after that crap.
Thanks. I have really thought about doing this, but with all the horror stories about "lifetime memberships" and other things from paysites, i am a little gun shy.
I didn't re-up after my credit card number got stolen (not by them i don't think). But once I was double charged and emailed Paul about it, and it was handled within a matter of hours.
Paul doesn't handle the "money" part of the site so he just forwarded my emails on to the support staff in memphis that handle it. They didn't listen. It's not all Paul's fault but I feel like he could've done something if he wanted to. It's your call but I won't be back to 247.
I haven't done the pay site thing in years, decided to give it a try last night with the 30 day free trial. I thought it was good info and well worth the money if the articles and info remain the same throughout the year. Between that and Sixpack all is well.
I continue to be amazed. This is the 2nd MSU related pay for info site that has sprung surprise charges, scams, etc on subscribers and yet some continue to hand over credit cards to buy information (mostly inaccurate information or at least highly subject to change) that is available out there for free.

Hey guys I appreciate the kind words and spreading the word. But I wanted to note there is no $10 cancellation fee. When people sign up it notes that you wont be charged at all if you cancel before your free trial ends. All you have to do is email me at [email protected] or email [email protected] to cancel.
I realize that, but its the same information that the 'cruits Tweet and put on Facebook, that Marcello, Locke, etc blog, and that that Paul, Gene, Rosebowl, etc all Tweet and post. It may be on the pay site an hour before everywhere else but unless somebody is the kind of person that gets a woodie from being the first guy at the water fountain to know the latest recruiting gossip, big deal. I just don't see paying for it
It's not just Paul's site...there are multiple complaints to the better business bureau on 247 sports about billing issues. In fact, they even recommend not to do business with 247. Paul is probably not a bad person but he works for a corrupt company. I wouldn't bother with it folks.

I logged in with my free creds last night for the first time on 247 and got info on the jones situation that has yet to be released. May come out today...I don't know....but as of now it hasn't.

Since July of 2011 when I started my site, I've had exactly four complaints about billing issues. Whenever someone said they forgot to cancel before being charged, I sent it to support and those guys got refunds if it was a legitimate claim (one guy signed up for a free trial twice under different usernames and no refund was given). It clearly states when folks sign up that if they want to cancel they can before being charged. And 247Sports is not a corrupt company and thanks for thinking I am probably not a bad person.
It's by far the best MSU pay site on the interwebs. Between sixpackspeak and bulldawgs24/7, I'm covered.
