Just curious.....do we really know any of this? Is it public what the roster gets? I really dont know.......
Didn't Kraft basically say it (that he had a problem with how NIL was managed)? People on this board with some info found out that a few players were making a half mil a season, and it seemed a bit high. It's not hard to believe.

It was reported Cambell likes tall linebackers and Amare didn’t fall under that category. Matt Cambell isn’t going to overpay for someone like that. Also I’m not talking crap on Amare but it’s not like he’s irreplaceable.
Im not sure hes said that, but his guys did seem on the taller side when I looked.

PSU is not just a few positions away from competing at the top level as we sit here today. This is developing into a total rebuild.
Probably right, but I dont know why it has to be at a school like Penn State.

No one has exact numbers on NIL. It's all a guessing game. Like people claimed Beau got 1M when that was "the value of it". He got a fraction of that in cash

With 1/3 of all college football players in the portal, it sounds like a buyers market. What happens when all the musical chairs are gone and no one is offering what they thing they're worth?

Excellent point.

Not an excellent point. Not sure what you are watching but the prices go up every year. The players in the portal are winning. #$$$$$

For the most part someone is offering the asking price.

Penn State Nittany Cyclones or Penn State Cyclone Lions

And here is what doesn’t make sense with some of you dolts. If Bob Chesney would have been hired he would have been bringing a bunch of JMU players and some of you complaining would be lapping it up.

This was going to be happening no matter who was hired. And say for example the Bama coach was coming, not many Bama players would be following him and almost every need would have to be via the portal and likely would not have all the $$ needed to meet all our needs.

Give the fn man a chance. He knows way more than any of us. Holy F!!!!
IDK he only has 3 of the top 10 commited portal players. Get to work CMC.(Yes it is early for the negative Nancy's)

Yep, it’s not like he’s bringing in bums either.

This time next year you’ll be saying the same thing… welcome to prollegiate football!

Nah, this was the perfect storm with regards to the timing of the firing, the subsequent hiring of said HC at a regional school and the early signing period.

Will we see kids enter the TP annually, sure but not at this quantity while simultaneously still adding to the recruiting class.

Grunk left because he wasn't going to start--Becht is our 2026 QB
Coleman leaving has nothing to do with Campbell
I'm torn on Harris because I like him but I like the kids we kept too
The turnover here isn't any different than most schools.
Grunk also saw the handwriting because Manske was inevitable too and he has 4 years and knows the system.

We are combining the best of a team previously projected to compete for a Big12 championship in 2026 with major pieces of a PSU team that could have and should have beaten the current #1 team Indiana. Not a bad way to rebuild!
PSU should have beaten Oregon too. Just a play away from beating two of the last four standing.
