I was wondering about the possibility conflict of interest. If the agent were a lawyer, this would get him disbarred. (I don’t actually know this for a fact but creative license.)

Why would it be a conflict of interest?

The interests of the coach and the player are not necessarily aligned and the agent is charged acting in both parties‘ interest even if they aren’t aligned.

exactly. I mean this is pretty obviously. No one should be complaining about it.

This seems like a sneaky good pickup. The kid was a second team freshman All American in 2025 and didn’t allow a sack. As for the LT, plenty of options on the roster already. If they get another tackle in the portal, that would be gravy at this point.

The uniqueness of many of the new names on the team is off the charts - Brock from Brock is almost as good as Kuol Kuol. But in all seriousness this was a very good pickup solving one of the most important remaining needs. Love the team Campbell is putting together. We are not winning a natty next season but the team will be highly competitive and fascinating to see come together.
