So LSU traded WR Kyle Parker to Ohio State for safety Faheem Delane? Were there any draft picks or NIL cash exchanged in the deal?
Another DL passes by PSU. Is there any good news out there on DL portals for PSU?

Penn State is busy officially adding its new additions from the transfer portal and the Class of 2026 on Friday.
Not much.
PSU added a number of DTs. I believe they'd like 1 more; not certain.
They definitely would like some DEs. Alas, quite a few teams are in the same position, as not nearly as many DEs entered the portal as was expected/as are needed by some of the elite teams.
OK, so today is January 16, the last day for the portal. Two questions. Is it open to midnight and what happens to the kids who entered the portal and haven't signed with anyone yet? Do they go back? Take Kritza for example.
This was the last day to enter the portal. Kids will be getting signed over the coming days and weeks all over the country. And some will be returning back to their original school if that school accepts them.
I think we have a better too deep on the DL for 2026 than we had in 2025.

yeah, I did get a chuckle out of that. But in the player's defense, he was't gaming the system. He signed with Utah, and right after that their head coach announced he was stepping away. Then that same coach ended up being hired by Michigan Now he's followed that coach (and some members of his staff) from Utah to Michigan.

He was set to play for Tulane in 2025, but an arrest led to a suspension, and he later transferred to Georgia State, where he attempted 201 passes in seven games. He re-entered the transfer portal and found a home at Incarnate Word, which will be his seventh program in his seventh season of college football.

It's part of life...often times you chase things only to realize things aren't always better. Decisions have consequences and they made their choice.
I don't feel bad for any kid listening to a parent or agent who chased money and came up empty.
Yep, lots of kids who get into the portal because some ‘unc’ told them they are getting disrespected by their current coach and need to go get that bag. ‘Unc’ of course is looking for his 10% of that bag as well.
PSU at least doesn't need to print new jerseys- no names, no waste
