Happy for woods, I was really disappointed he went to iowa. Glad he left to train elsewhere.
My brother just pointed out that last year, DT beat Hidlay, Zahid and Ghazempour in the same year—only losing to Sadulaev (& Brooks). In 2025 hindsight, that’s 3 champs and 4 championships (plus a silver and 2 bronzes) that he took out. Not that he needs the help, but that’s a good way to go out.

Jacarra Winchester is a near-lock to get thrown to her back at Worlds.
Sometimes she's able to overcome it. But it happens with alarming regularity.
Helen Maroulis with a fall 12 seconds into the second period of her semi-final.
At a point in her career a few years back where it looked like she was going to start to naturally fade, Helen went in the other direction.
Nope - Woods left Iowa for Michigan. They can't take credit for guys who have bailed out for greener pastures and then win their medals.

Real Woods escaped that grind you to dust, windowless dungeon infirmary just in time. Happy for him.

My wife is a dermatologist in PA and the amount of wrestlers that come in for help with the above plus every skin condition from dirty mats is unbelievable.
