What a match!!! Sanchez has ice water in his veins! Up 1-0 goes on the clock with :50 left. He gets to a shot and converts on the edge for a td. Gets another exposure with no time left on the clock. What a great match between 2 really really elite guys. PSU needs to be all over him

How does Keegan stack up against Bo and Melvin as a prospect? It seems like you don’t hear much about him but maybe that’s just because he is young

It does.

UWW team scoring is:
- 3 pts for a regular decision
- 4 pts for a TF
- 5 pts for a pin
- 1 pt for the losing wrestler in a regular decision or TF if he scores during the match
- 0 pts for the losing wrestler if he gets shut out or pinned
So are the US chances getting a wee bit better of overtaking Iran? How many wrestlers are left for Iran?

He looks like a little boy… how old is he?

45 kg is 99 lb… will take a few years for him to not be undersized for 125!

Don't think I've ever before seen a guy get bundled while standing -- at any talent level or differential. And then he Bassett locked in both arms with 1 hand, so he could ankle pick from that position.

Even Mike Evans might be impressed by that win.

Keegan is definitely behind them as a prospect. This past year he went 45-7, S4 -- and gave up some lopsided losses. Got majored by Karenbauer, Farnsworth, Lotier, and Turner Ross (OK, at Ironman). He also DNP at Ironman after getting handled by Wenrich in consis.

Those are all very good wrestlers. But we didn't see such margins of defeat with Bo or Miller.

That said, Keegan will still be among the top recruits in 2028.

He's 16 and headed into his HS soph year.

Doubt he'll be a college 125. Bo wrestled 113 as a FR and now looks like a college 149, and their father isn't tiny. More likely Keegan hasn't yet hit his spurt, plus freestyle last-minute weight sucking.

JJ is live right now.

Iran on the clock first, no score at 1 minute left in 1st.
James up 1-0 after a scramble and the clock expires, then got a step out 2-0.
4-0 after what appears to be his signature scoring method of stepping over after an opponent throws in a whizzer.
4-0 at the break.

Again! 6-0! Underhook, whizzer step over.
45 seconds left. Clock stopped.
Iran scores 6-2, James given a reversal. 7-2 James.

James gets a td 9-2! He's the champ!

Seems like you know them well … can you clarify how Melvin Miller is related to them?

I’ve seen him variously referred to as their brother, half-brother, adopted brother, and cousin!
