I think you're the hypocritical one but thats the way woke people are. I wouldn't give you the names of those two trams because I dont have to, if you have any kind of IQ at all you know the 2 teams. Its not rocket science
I woke this morning about 5:30. It would be extremely difficult to be hypocritical in ones sleep. You are correct about one thing though, you don’t have to tell me a dad-gum thing, but I don’t think my IQ has much of anything to do with what you don’t know. Again I say, He gets a little confused sometimes.

Don’t argue with him daletec! You’ll get caught up in a three page discussion that will not yield any logical answers.

Now Kinston can be kicked out and put another West team in:D
Im not gonna lie that was funny 😂😂. All this bickering is giving me a headache. None of it even matters because Northeastern is the best 2a/2aa team in the state and its not even close. Were even spotting all our opponents 25 yards on each kickoff. All our opponents get the ball at midfield.🤣 If you dont believe me just look at any of our past games on NFHS Network. Now, come and get some of this heat ❗❗ We don't even need that 5* running back😎. It's ok Coach Moore, I've already forgave you.

Talk that smack goob. Northeastern might well be the best in the EAST. Send em to the championship and let’s see who they will face. Maybe one of your buddies unknown teams. Now that would be funny. Of course he won’t tell us who it is because he told me, he didn’t have to.

no the seedings in the past have included more factors than just.geographics
No, you mention location, then claim demographic advantage, I don't see what the demographics of any team has to do with advantage. Demographic diversity is a good thing, but not an advantage. At least be honest with yourself. I didn't mention seedings, and I don't believe the racial/cultural/income makeup of any team has to do with seeding.

It's useless daletec, all that reputation has gone to his head. At first I thought he was yanking some chains but it turns out he really is that dense. The man has zero self awareness, he can't see the forest because of all those trees in the way!

Hardwork and discipline will ALWAYS beat talent when talent doesn't work hard. Hell, look at Duke vs Michigan's fab five. Those kidswere super talented, but they were reckless. Demographics has nothing to do with it.

I get that the playoffs are divided between "east" and "west", but some teams (particularly in 1a) regularly ping-pong from one bracket to the other in the playoffs based on who on the map just to their left or right does or doesn't get in each year.
Having lived in N.C. my entire life, based on geography, politics, economic base, history and culture, I think we have 3 fairly distinct regions:
Western-which to me means mountains and curvy roads. I'd define this region as west of Winston-Salem
Central/Piedmont- starts at Winston and runs down to Charlotte, and east thru Raleigh. Of course it has its rural areas, but most everyone lives within commuting distance of the Triad, Triangle and Charlotte metro (another defining "characteristic": for a weekend getaway, you can jump in the car and be in either the mountains or at the beach w/o too much of a drive).
Eastern- east of Raleigh to the coast. I'd include Fayetteville as the most-western edge of the region, and while it is sorta/kinda metro, its heavy military presence means makes it a natural to include along with their eastern kin at Seymour/Goldsboro and Lejeune/Jacksonville.

I'm too lazy to pull out a map and look up some of these schools and where they are, but I'm guessing a handful that are being termed as "western" on this thread are really more in the central/Piedmont region, regardless where they get slotted in the playoffs.

Yes, also living in NC my entire life, we were taught that in middle school...that NC has three regions, the mountains, the piedmont, and the coastal region. However, sports cannot be in three groups, it must be divided into even numbers at least. Maybe we work out 4 regions instead of just east and west and have regional Champs battle it out for who goes to state.

Wonder if we split the state north vs south? Straight down the line. Charlotte, Cleveland County Gaston County South (thats all we'll need) and winston salem, Greensboro, Raleigh and blah blah some forsyth team to the north.

That's very generous of you giving Reidsville 25 yds on each kickoff and the ball at midfield.

Means the Rams can play with a running clock in the first qtr and we can all get home earlier!!

Wow I’ve lived in NC my entire life as well. This is remarkable. We didn’t have Middle School (6th - 8th ) back in the dark ages we had High School ( 10th - 12th ) & Jr. High ( 7th - 9th). Back then we used leather helmets and pumpkins for footballs. Needless to say the kicking game did not go well back then. There were very few penalties called then either. Taunting wasn’t a problem, cause if you did that you coach would whoop your aerss. Things have really changed but me and my buddy Wiz remember the old days, hell we’ve been following high school football for over 60 years.

😂😂😂crying!
We used a crushed milk carton for the ball and an athletic sock stuffed with toilet paper for a horse collar. Played Pasture ball at Maiden elementary b4 school every day!

there are lots of factors, you mention several; politics is one of them; ADE determines school size; number of schools conferences. Popumation. Exceptions playing up or down.As you mentioned vey few 1A schools in the west; its all more than a com pass point. No telling how they'll seed this year.

theres only a funning clock the you play teams like BY; Carrboro, Cummings, Graham; Ragsdale, really preparing for the playoffs. Heck ya got away with it for a few years now so who knows, but dont even think about a run-in g clock down here.

Daletec, I think I’ve figured out Wiz’s problem. I think his “Oldtimers” has started to kick in. One cantankerous old dude I’ll tell you that.

Does anybody know anything about that funding clock he’s talking about. I’m starting to feel bad for him.

Ragsdale is 4a. I remember playing northwest Guilford and 2a teams said that about them, but at the end of the day Northwest was still better than most 2a teams. We are always playoffs ready
