i agree, this is the measuring stick game so far for the SCOTS. i would be very cautious if i were pinecrest. this scots team is a different type team right now than from the past. i can say that the offense is more than versatile at this point than in the past. win this friday and then prepare for that huge monday night showdown.
Da games films and videos HSFB man and D Rabble has reviewed Pinecrest Will B's lucky 2's score 13 points.
Too much football in 2 weeks... these guys need time to recover... perfect storm for injures... If this was the NCHSAA "answer" for a covid make up schedule I would say dont play the season... no thoughts were given about the kids...just cram in a game and play...

New Bern is in the same boat, haven’t played a Friday game yet. We’re on a Friday/Wednesday/Monday schedule starting tomorrow. Is what it is.

This schedule for football from the get go was done with no consideration for covid interruptions. Should have been a wider window and I have stated remove playoffs for this year and let kids get a chance to play a meaningful season with 10 games. My son is playing Friday, the following Thursday and Tuesday . Not sure they will walk out unscathed.
I’m worried about Richmond, Scotland, and Pinecrest. These teams will make runs, some deep. Season will end last week of April or early May. Quick turnaround.
Wow what a game Scots D is very good and the qb will throw it around. I said this a couple of weeks ago after my raiders were able to escape that overtime game. Pinecrest is a well coached team and they are good they know there system and personal.
Scots defense was legit tonight, but we got to get points when you're 1sr and goal from the 5.
While we all seem so enamored with the new found passing game this year, in this game
what produced both the tds. We didnt go to it on first and goal from the 5 after the turnover
and we didnt go to it any in the 2nd half with no points getting put on the scoreboard and
stagnant offense. A big drop on the sideline on the 3rd down play before there last drive,

I think depth had a lot to do with the turn out as well... Scotland is playing a lot of their starters on both sides of the ball... I heard over the radio that Pinecrest was sending in fresh hogs on their OL every other play...that'll wear ya down pretty good... also why they got so many rushing yards in the 2nd half.... hats off to the Pats... they had a game plan and it worked.... Also Scotland gotta score on these short and goals... game should have been won by two touchdowns
im still having trouble processing what i saw. i dont think i saw anything from Pinecrest that proved they were better than Scotland. if we convert those TOs to points we win maybe 20-7 maybe 27-7. but no excuses, we gotta learn from that and move on. scotswin i agree, pound that TD out and we would be without that L anyway.
From what I’ve gathered, it’s Richmond that’s had to quarantine this time. This will probably end Richmond’s regular season being that they had 3 games in the next 9 days starting this Thursday, I believe.
I can’t imagine anyone can qualify for any playoffs only playing 3 out of 7 scheduled
That’s a problem. Playoffs based solely off conference schedule and winning percentage. Richmond winning percentage is 100. So they will get in. As far as I know there was no minimum game requirement.
We should be able to play next Friday against Swett if there are no set backs. Scots should be happy they escaped a 2nd loss on the season.
This whole experience has been just that. Not really sure what the association expected when they carved out 9 weeks basically to play 7 games.
