On a grade scale of 1-10 I give us a solid 6

Defense was good as usual

Offense just needs some time with some new faces and players playing in different roles on offense

Our qb is small in size but I think he’s going to be good

Freshwater and Fletcher haven’t missed a beat, Lister impressed

Jordan Jones was my player of the game, he worked hard in the off season and it showed tonight.

Our kicking game is embarrassing 😳
We have to be the worst in Nc. No reason imo that we shouldn’t have a suitable kicker.

Loved the way Coach Moore changed things up tonight.

Crowd was really good tonight for an opening game here in Elizabeth City

Our PA announcer is the best!!!

Our sound system sucks, love to hear those crackling blown speakers. Enough is enough, replace them or just disconnect them. We have to good a program to have such a ****** sound system. Those bad speakers just ruin the players entrance and the halftime jams.

@UNC91 , are you sure your ok? I'm not used to you being like this but I like it. Not one shot fired yet at our program or coach. I told my wife earlier that I put that first post up here just to get a reaction out of you and you didn't come back at me with a negative comment. You have silenced me for the moment. Good luck to swo, when they are at their best it makes the playoffs so much better. SWO and WRH fans are second to none imo, your fan bases bring that energy and pack the stadiums. That sets the tone for a big game. This Thursday I'm heading down to WRH, looking forward to the trip.

Swo will struggle this year, three year starting QB transfer to New Hanover a few weeks before the season

Coaches son, non athlete, is playing the QB position. Looked lost all night, small white kid. Not sure what's going on at swo, a powerhouse program for 25 years, has fallen way below standard. We have a stud RB only a sophomore, but zero line play to help him. The most undisciplined and unorganized swo team I've seen in 30 years. I will still be at every game cheering the boys on, they have some fight and dogs on the team, imo coaching is killing swo program.

My tone has changed, since this world has changed overnight. Have two sons overseas trying to protect this great country. Didnt sleep last few nights wondering if I will ever see my sons again.
Rough times my brother.

But glad to see you back on the boards stirring things up. Wish my buddy dlee was around to go back n forth with u

Godspeed and lots of prayers for your sons. I can't imagine how that feels. Sometimes football takes a back seat in this crazy world we live in.

Love this post. I can fully understand where your coming from. If any of my kids were over in Afghanistan I wouldn't be able to sleep either. Im a very patriotic person and respect every man and woman in uniform. I think many of us up here including myself tend to get to caught up in sports and let our emotions take over. God bless your boys, and I'm glad your tone has changed. Now I myself will take a step back and not talk so much trash.

Thanks brother, at the end of the day, we are all Americans. Seems like the only people who have our back, is our troops now.

We will be praying for your Son's. We live in dangerous times. I sorta know how you feel. I have a daughter that wanted to be a crime scene investigator. Sent her to college for that and her senior year she interned with the Boone police dept and fell in love with riding patrol. I tried to explain to her how dangerous it is but she was determined. After she graduated she came back to Craven and took the BLET class. She was always so quiet and is not a ton boy so I didn't really think we had anything to worry about. Well she aced BLET. She was the only female in her class to pass. A lot of guys didn't make it through. Along the way I started pulling for her. She's not in a war zone but I worry for her as I go to bed knowing she is out on patrol all night long. But it does not compare to being overseas in the military. Keep the faith for God to protect your son's!

Being told that Greenville Rose and NC State rb commit Michael Allen will be playing tomorrow night against Northeastern here in Elizabeth City.

I definitely will, and I'll take the blinders off and be straight up. Our defense looked really good against Rocky Mount, but tbh I didn't think Rocky Mt was good at all. Had NE not made so many dumb mistakes they could've easily put another 3 tds on the board. Freshwater and Fletcher better bring their A game if they're going to stop Allen. I think it's a toss up.

Northeastern just needs to let the young guy throw the ball the whole game he can throw just let him go it will work out in the long run rocky Mount is a good team we just got a damn good defense a good defense will always keep you around

I looked up the qb stats and they weren’t bad for his first start. I was told last year that Biggies replacement was short but he had a cannon for an arm and loved to throw. I’m curious to see how he comes out tonight against this Greenville Rose team. Should be a good game, our defense will be tested tonight for sure

Oh well, I'm still going to the Pound. This will be the first NE game I've missed in a very long time and by far the biggest game I've missed. I'm very disappointed, I really wanted to see the GR running back and how he performed against our defense. Everyone knows I'm a huge Wolfpack fan.

Greenville Rose/Northeastern game should be awesome. I promised John I'd go to WRH so I want to honor that. Really wanted to see Michael Allen play.

Dogs79 if everything goes as if it just might that should be a packed house that night. But there's a lot of ifs between now and then. Just hope we all are still playing by then
