Great game though. No sustained drives but lots of big plays
Great game so far. This Hickory team is the real deal on offense. But more than anything, they're executing and making few mistakes. Their play calling has been good enough to keep the defense guessing when Dudley adjust to the pass or the run. If they win, that will be the reason why.
Dudley has had opportunity after opportunity to score and they just can't get out of their own way. Their play calling has been questionable as well. If you're able to get 5+ yards after each run, why stop?
Defensively, neither one of these teams can stop a nosebleed.

I agree...feels like they're playing desperate instead of sticking to gameplan but who knows. It's a 9 point game...anything can happen
Also, not having a kicker may lose Dudley the game here. That was an opportunity to score 3 before the half and they came up empty.
I don't think they trust their kicker unless it's within the 10 yard line and right now the middle.
Dudley is going to need that timeout. Hickory hasn't kicked a FG all night, why fall for it and switch out your defense?

Dudley has shown they're able to score really quickly and Hickory's defense has more holes than swiss cheese. Hopefully they can score and tie this up.
Dudley needs to get some serious pressure on the QB. Hickory keeps converting on 3rd down.
