Why in the hell did We call a dadgum timeout? Why not run the clock and kick?

Considering we have one of, if not THE, best kicker we've ever had - yes.
Needed some time to draw up the ole "throw the ball straight to a D-Lineman 15 yards frome the nearest receiver" play.
Because that was not a gimme FG by any means, and our kicker has been a bit shaken lately. I understand passing, you damn sure couldn’t run it. by the way, had he hit the pass, it might have scored. We had a guy wide open. Shapen had a great game, and had a terrible game. That kind of sums it up.

I quit listening to his boring asss pregame and postgame conversations but I will be listening again tonight if that’s what Lebby was trying to do.

No one would be bitching about Lebby if the kicker missed a field goal, other than the fact it should not have come down to that to start with. When you are in that spot you don’t allow this to even have a chance of happening. It’s brain dead coaching.
And if our coach wasn’t retarded we would have gotten a few more yards and still had the time out.
