I'm curious if East Duplin can repeat, still have to have new game plan as WRH probably plugged previous loop holes.

ED will have to be successful in the air to win.

They're gonna have to, to increase their chances.

When 2 running teams clash, the winner usually has a successful game in the air ie Hibriten/ED 2017, or South Point/Rocky Mt 2015/2016(they flip flopped both years)
Normally I would agree 100% but ED will control our possessions by running the clock and running the ball. Battle will throw 4 or 5 times and a couple wrinkles thrown in there. Has worked for him lately.

I agree 100 percent. I just hope to get a win.
EG had a really good game plan against Burns. They came in and was methodical on offense trying to sustain drives to chew up clock. It worked for the most part and game spiraled into a scoring fest late in the second half.

If they can do that tonight I think they have a shot to keep it close and who knows maybe pull off a huge upset. But if it turns into a track meet it will be over early.

If I'm Postell Hill gets it 30 plus times tonight whether on handoffs or dumps out of the backfield.

SP last game played, round 2 of the 3A bracket the game was over shortly before 9:30. TWO RUNNING TEAMS. SP did not attempt a pass the entire night. SP was lucky to get out of Waynesville with a win but they did. Had it not been for a couple of long passes by Pisgah that game would not have been nearly as close.

I’d like to think we get excited but those dudes get crazy and loud. I’d be willing to say, although tell me if I’m wrong we aren’t as biased as some radio crews.

Tip of the cap to Mr. Simmons on the margin of victory for Shelby!

I missed that one….terribly!😉
