Several dominos are still on the table in the SEC. Let Richmond win the last 3 games and if Scotland or Lee can beat Pinecrest. What an “If”

thank you and it did took a lot of figuring to do. i have tried my absolute best and thats all i can do.
It’s definitely a lot of work. Thank you. I think what Hon Dines is referring to is that the conference champs will be seated first. So for example if you assume Wake Forest is the champ of the NAC because they are the highest seed, then Heritage, Millbrook, and Rolesville would have to drop down to 11, 12, and 13 seeds, if I’m not mistaken.

Since you apparently " know " what people are thinking, doing, etc. , perhaps a visit to your local lottery store would better serve you in your future financial endeavors, but i chose to avoid your little pick 'em contest because i try to avoid narcissists at all costs.

#2 seed and wild cards

A #2 seed or wild card CANNOT jump a Conference Champion.

#2 seed and wild cards are put in the same RPI ranking

A wild card CAN jump a #2 seed if RPI is higher

What ever the system setup, it sure doesnt make sense to me. NB is undefeated and beat NH but NH is ranked higher. I know that the teams NH has played have a better record than the teams that NB has played but that is obviously carrying too much weight in the calculations. Opp records should matter but not over head to head.

I've said all along, I think the NCHSAA needs to adjust their percentages. 60% should be your winning percentage, 30% your opponents winning percentage and 10% your opponents opponents winning percentage. Just my thoughts from a math person.

There is a difference between a prediction and a projection. But, throwing together a prediction based solely on RPI, isn't a prediction, it's just a lazy way to throwing together a bracket. If you're going to "predict" a bracket, have some kind of overarching foresight of all the conference battles, and make an educated prediction.... you owe that to yourself and everyone else who is going to look at it.

If you're not going to make a decent educated prediction, ATLEAST use the correct seeding method to give everyone an accurate PROJECTION. and if you can't do that, I suggest just not.

United 8- Jack Britt
Sandhills- Pinecrest
All American-Pine Forest
SWAC- Apex
Cap6: Leesville, Sanderson, Cardinal Gibbons (Tied)
Greater Neuse: Cleveland
Dac: Hillside, Southern Alamance (Tied)
Nac6: Millbrook, Wake Forest, Rolesville (Tied)
Big East: New Bern
Mid Eastern: New Hanover

At least 4 of those conferences will not be decided until last game but taking the top RPI team in the “tied” conferences right now. Seeds 1-10 will look like this.

1. New Bern
2. Wake Forest
3. Hillside
4. Cleveland
5. New Hanover
6. Leesville Road
7. Apex
8. Pinecrest
9. Pine Forest
10. Jack Britt

New Hanover jumped from 1 to 4 after their win last night. Keeping up with this system will make your head spin.

Some things are simple enough and shouldn’t make our heads spin. If NH and NB win out and their opp record stay about where it is now NH will be a higher seed than a team that is undefeated and beat then 40-3.

In split conferences with at least two teams from a particular classification, the highest-finishing team from a particular classification will make the playoffs automatically, regardless of where it finishes in the overall conference standings.
So 1-10 will be seeded first the RPI's
10- 4A
What in the world was I thinking????My bad!
