It's based off of the RPI Rankings, which has NH #2 with the highest opponents winning % in the 4A East.NH #2
Yes. That will change once they play WB, Ashley, Laney and Topsail. Plus, Oh course they will lose to Hoggard.
New Bern has been looking really impressive. My pick out of the East.
They will have a harder time scoring on us than we will on them. NH has been scoring on Def and ST almost every game.
They had 200 yards rushing and 350 total yards against Butler. Will be looking forward to that game in a few weeks.
Seeding
- Conference champions will be seeded before any other qualifying teams by RPI rating
- All other teams will be seeded after the conference champions by RPI rating of the school, regardless of conference finish
- Each region (East/West) will be seeded independently of one another, utilizing the RPI rating of the school
Yea, there is some concern. I think the issues can be fixed but we will see. Hoggard was without their most explosive WR who was sick all week. He is is a playmaker. They also are dealing with some injuries upfront so some guys are being moved around.
New Hanover is now ranked #1 in the 4A East per the NCHSAA RPI system.

Based on MaxPreps, New Hanover did not play last night. They will play Ashley on Monday who is near the bottom of the rankings. It will adjust out after that.
