While the game was much closer. This game had very similar vibes to me. New Bern was in control the whole time.

That touchdown was heady. Just think, woulda won by 40 if we passed.

It sucks to see a Greensboro team lose in the title game. But I can't say I feel bad for Grimsley. They are our rival and I didn't really want to see them win tonight.

I think y'all threw one or two. It was early in the game where y'all were having success with running. I was wondering why y'all went away from what was working.
Other than the one 85-yard TD pass, New Bern's pass defense stopping Grimsley passing attack was the key to the game. Great defensive effort by the Bears.

That last TD could have been a really bad decision for NB …. That just opened the door for a miracle…. A BIG miracle but none the less it could have happened
Congratulations New Bern. Loved seeing a 4A school run to a championship. Never thought that would happen. Met some New Bern posters at K38 in Wilmington some years ago - maybe lovethembears. Congrats guys.
First time I've ever had the opportunity to watch New Bern.. that was quite an honor to do so. You don't see offenses run like that anymore and they ran it like a machine. It was beautiful.
What was the over/under on how many times that clown of a tv announcer said "New Bern - they stuck to the script"

This ain’t the Charlotte Catholic BS 5 yard triple option. This is a Stud at QB plus two D1 running backs, almost impossible to stop in High school. Worst possible matchup for Grimsley. Props to New Berns Coaches for that system
