Providence will absolutely demolish the rest of their schedule. Why is it noted that they can't jump East Meck or Rocky River?

Just curious, and this may have been addressed already but can conference foes meet up in first round? With the rules changing seemingly every year I never know!

Right now Providence is behind those two schools mention which is why the note was made. When getting the top 32 teams for the playoffs, someone who has a higher RPI but finishes lower in their conference can't leap frog those teams in front of them in the conference.

I agreed that I thought Providence would get in based off of who they play the rest of the way.

Gotcha, I thought that might have been why.

As far as conference opponents in round 1 I think there should be something put in place to avoid that. You go all year playing games against teams from your area just to match-up with a conference foe in round 1.

Creek did it 2 years in row against conference teams we beat during the season. Hough & Chambers. Had a bye week and lost both 1st games. 2019 & 2020

Interesting when I see greatest high school football teams of all time, people don’t mention that Page team often. From a rating perspective they are top 10 of all time

That team was really good. They beat the 3A champs that year with relative ease as well.

With East Forsyths upcoming schedule (3 low win percentage teams)...could they drop to the 3rd or 4th in the RPI / seed by the time the season is over?

I don't think so because If you look at it Hough plays west cabarrus who has zero wins. Then they play Hopewell who has 1 win so their score wont go much higher. That is if they get past the Creek

Grimsley is behind Hough East and Chambers they just played 1-6 Ragsdale, 4-3 southwest, 4-3 Page, and 3-4 Northern Guilford. So they won't jump anyone IMO.

Chambers is too far back with the 2 losses to jump East Forsyth and Hough if they all win out. But with that said Hough and Chambers both have to beat Creek. Creek could win against both.

East Forsyth plays RJ Reynolds 2-5, Glenn whos 3-4, and West Forsyth whos 2-5 but playing Davie and RJR so they will have a win or 2 more. Looking at this

Good job! Finally someone know how to do these predictions by NCHSAA Seeding rules. Someone should show the poster doing the 4A East how it's done!
