Anyone else get this email? The "State Sweepstakes" it's basically a 50/50 drawing up to $300,000 drawing is November 30th. Seems like a strange look for a way to raise NIL money? But may be a great idea 200 tickets are only $200! Thoughts?
I like it. I do these 50/50 raffles every time I go to baseball game in St. Louis. I never win but I like doing it.Anyone else get this email? I've seen that amount at baseball games and they have 82 home games. We only have 8 so we could push it big time, start at the tailgate and continue through the game.Yeah, the rules say you have to be in MS at the time of purchase, but don’t clarify how that’s tracked. I live in TN so will wait until they give some clarity.
I’m with @HotMop. This is a game day activity. $2 a ticket and unlimited. Then you post on the video board the running total ads (“hey fans, buy your 50-50 tickets as you could walk away with winnings of $x. The more you buy, the more potential winnings and support for the university you provide! Hail state!”). I’ve seen at other pro events and the total has been up to $100k!
Let the Bulldog Club know! Think this was a test run. Arkansadoes something similar and has raised >$500k for their version of Bulldog Club so far this year: https://razorbackraffle.com/winnersWe should do this at every athletic event
Would that anger or finally soothe the dead injuns under all our playing fields?? HahaWe should open a casino. Not joking
